A lighthearted story!. Not Just Friends is a lighthearted story with great likable characters and banter! Its book three in the series but can be read as a standalone. Jared Leighton has had a crush on his best friends little sister Presley and oh my goodness me does this book send you on a ride. Presley is this workaholic woman who is quite frankly tough as nails except in regards to her slimey ex. Needless to say when Tibbs asks Jared to keep an eye on his sister, little does he know how good of an eye he has on her. There is some suspense, drama and some steamy moments as well as some rather heartwarming parts with caring friends and family. Entertaining Read. 4.5 Stars for Not Just Friends (Hot in the City #3) What a great addition to this fun series. If you are looking for an entertaining, fun read look no further than this book which is Presley and Jared’s story because I guarantee, you will be captivated and entertained. Presley is having issues with her ex and her brother Tibbs asks his best friend Jared to keep an eye on her, problem is Presley and Jared have feelings for each other and it’s not long before they become more than just friends. Can Jared keep his relationship secret from his best friend and will Tibbs understand when the truth comes out...... I fell hard and fast for Jared he is everything I want in a man, kind, caring, loyal and protective even when he finds himself not being completely honest with his best friend. Presley is easy to relate to and this couples journey will captivate you from the first chapter to the last line. Their journey is sweet yet steamy, the chemistry is sizzling and the banter is witty and this friends to lovers story is one I highly recommend to all romance lovers.

Another 5 star read from T.Gephart. This book is packed with everything you could want. Psycho ex boyfriends, hot firemen and a powerful female lead. All of this and of corse all the laugh out loud moments we have come to expect from this series of stand alone novels and of this author. Whether you are already a huge fan of T.Gephart or a first time reader, you won’t be disappointed with the incredible characters and their story. Leighton and Presley’s story will have you hooked from the very first paragraph to the very last. I couldn’t put it down once I started reading. I wanted...no needed to know how their story would play out. I’m hooked! So many more characters in this world that I need a story for!

Loved it. This is a great addition to a series that I have come to love.This is Presley and Jared’s story and from the first to the last chapter Ms. Gephart wove a story that you cannot help but become invested in. What happens when lines are crossed and a one night stand becomes complicated? That’s the position Jared and Presley find themselves in. When Presley’s brother Tibbs asks his best friend Jared, to keep an eye on Presley things are about to heat up and become even more complicated. Presley has issues with an ex who is trying to cause trouble for her and Jared is just the man for the job. Jared was such a kind and caring man and I loved how protective and supportive of Presley he was even while they were trying to keep their relationship a secret from his best friend, Presley’s brother Tibbs. It was also heart warming and entertaining to watch the relationship develop into love between Presley and Jared. The characters were easy to relate too and I fell hard and fast for Jared. I loved the journey they travelled in this sweet, steamy, love story. There was a good balance of humour, romance and a little suspense in Not Just Friends. The banter was witty and this friends to lovers story ticked the boxes for me.
