Cliffhanger. If you aren’t a fan of cliffhanger’s don’t start the book. I liked the beginning until it seemed like I was reading two books which didn’t make sense. When it almost came together, the cliffhanger! I despise cliffhangers and won’t read a book if I know it has one. Not cool forcing someone to spend five dollars to find out what happens in a book you already own.

Bad ending. It originally started out as a good book, but at the end it seems the author decided to try and add too many plot twists in order for you to get the next book. As an avid reader the ending disappointed me. I feel like the author should have just left Ardal out of the book completely and it would have been way better. They could have ended it with the guy escaping and not getting killed and it would have actually made me want to purchase the next book to see who he was. Sometimes doing too much ruins books.

Amazingly inventive plot, dialogue that keeps the story speeding along and great characters. Terrific read!

Started out like something familiar. At first, I thought this book was a replay of a movie I saw starring Clarise. This plot line developed into something better and then, BAM, I have to buy the next book to find out what happens. Bad form!

Mesmerizing. What a page turner this was! If not for having to work, I would have finished this in a day!

Murder mystery. Abby Kane FBI series. She is a tiny firecracker! This was a completely thrilling episode with a surprise ending!

Completely caught me by surprise. I can typically predict what’s going to happen. Put the pieces together early on, and then I enjoy reading how that plays out. This book caught me off guard and had me guessing until the very end. Definitely worth the read. I stayed up way too late for a few nights taking this one in!

Couldn’t stop. I started this book just before bed not knowing what to expect, next thing it was 2am and I finished and was wanting to get the next book in the series. Great read
