Couldn’t put it down!. I have been hooked on this series from the start and it just gets better and better with each book. The characters keep getting more fascinating and the plots more thrilling. I love that Lou is growing and becoming a better balanced person while trying to get a grasp on her inner nature. I REALLY love how she keeps taking the bad guys and evil doers down!

Lou is back!. Great read with all my favorite characters returning! Louie faces a different challenge in this book and makes for fast paced reading and you can’t put it down! Loved it!

You don’t want to miss this!. Another fantastic offering from Kory! I was unbelievably fortunate enough to be graced with an ARC of this book and I’m still going to purchase it. If you like the Louie Thorne stories you will not be disappointed with this one. It has all the feels, I laughed, cried and bit my nails at the suspense. I can’t wait for the next instalment of this series.

Death and Gelato. Lou Thorne’s favourites. I like Kory’s books (I binge read the Dying for a Living series recently) and her writing style. This one is no exception. I read it out of sequence from the series as it is the latest one, but I will now go back and read the rest. I already knew the background to the series. Kory invests her characters with a humanity that despite the supernatural nature of the story draws you into their world and makes it ‘real’. (Like all her books). If you are already a Lou Thorne fan then you won't need convincing anyway. If you haven’t read any of Kory’s books I strongly suggest giving this one or all of them a read. If you like well crafted female characters with a good supporting cast you won’t be disappointed. As for ‘Death and Gelato’ well Lou dishes out both with equal enthusiasm, but I think Death is probably her favourite ! Well maybe. (Read the book).
