They were meant to be!. This is book 2 in the Simply series and it features Logan Montgomery and Catherine Luck. The scandalous part would be Logan‘s family, in particular his wealthy father. The other scandalous part would be his very nosy, intrusive, well intentioned and extremely loved grandmother, Emma. This grandmother makes ZERO apologies for her meddling, which is super funny. This is an insta-love story with fantastic characters. The story line dealt with a beautiful romance but was told with very little background or filler story. It could’ve easily been a longer book. Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed reading it.

Great vacation read!. This was an enjoyable read that also allows you to catch up with Kayla and Kane. Catherine and Logan came from completely different backgrounds but were so much more compatible than Catherine’s preconceived notions. It, Logan made his mission to show Catherine how alike they were (with some interference from Emma, his grandmother). This was a nice, easy read, perfect for the beach.

Love conquers all!. A meddling grandmother, a public defender with a untouched trust fund, and a caterer with a scandalous family are the main characters for the second book in the Simply series. Catherine begins to want a family like her sister has found. She just doesn’t think anyone would stick around for her. Logan works hard to live outside his high society family even when his father won’t take no for an answer. There immediate connection and electric chemistry make it hard to say no to each other. Overcoming fears and getting what you want mean taking chances with your heart. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
