An excellent debut for an engaging cast of characters. Dirty Little Secrets may be a misleading title for the new Ms. Noble endeavor since the book is much more than an entertaining small-town romance novel. Brooke's story is the journey of her recovery from a violent and traumatic event. The tone of the narration is more objective than dramatic, the stark reality of the victim's loneliness and trauma jumping off the page. The book is also a suspense story, in its peculiar way, with the author experimenting with different genres and mixing them in a delectable and entertaining fashion. The opening suggests a psychological thriller, with its grey, dark, and sinister atmosphere. After the first few chapters, the plot turns into an action story, then mystery and suspense, all of them intertwined by both intense love passages and charming romantic interludes. Dirty Little Secrets introduces an entirely new cast of characters, some of them just jotted, others thoroughly defined, giving life to a colorful, diverse, and intriguing community that promises entertainment and inspiration for the installments to come. The two protagonists are lovely, multi-faceted characters that intrigue and captivate the readers, who cannot avoid sharing their emotions in a very entertaining experience. Finally, Dirty Little Secrets includes many of the laugh-out-loud moments that characterize Ms. Noble's prose. Dirty Little Secrets. What a thrilling start to a new series! Dirty Little Secrets was an edge of your seat kind of read. Brooke our heroine is being stalked and she moves back home to Baldwin’s Shore to pick her life back up after something traumatic happens. While there she reconnects with Luca an old friend and sparks fly. Lots of unique characters to love and an adorable pet. Great read and can’t wait for the next book in Baldwin’s shore!

Realistic dialogue. The book was a slow start for me, but I did love the dialogue.

Loved it!. A fantastic read in an exciting new series! Baldwin’s Shore is a small town filled with secrets. Brooke suffered a secret trauma over a year ago and now her nightmare has returned. She really needs a protector so it’s lucky Luca (her brother’s best friend) is back in town. I loved this story and am excited for more. Highly recommend!

Mystery, suspense, drama and heartbreak!. Dirty Little Secrets (Baldwin’s Shore #1) by Elise Noble I’ve just fallen in love with a new little town called Baldwin’s Shore. Mystery, suspense, drama and heartbreak, throw in a little plot twist and what more could you ask for?! Each character is written so beautifully that you can’t help but form an attachment. Brooke has returned to her home town and her over protective brother to try to live some semblance of a normal life but any chance of normality flew out the window when a stalker makes his intentions known. On top of that the love of her life comes back to town which is made more complicated by the fact that he’s her brother’s best friend. This is a definite must read, well done Elise, you’ve done it again.

A Recommended Read. O. M. G! Dirty Little Secrets is a ripping read! Lots of action, great characters, keep you guessing storyline and an enticing lead into the next book. I loved the characters, loved the book and can’t wait for the next instalment.
