Net Worth. This book was a total waste of time! Mason was totally messed up physically and mentally. It went downhill from there. Don’t waste your time reading this!

Oh my hotness!! 🔥🔥. Oh my hotness!! 🔥🔥 Mason Hill is the uber badness you’ve been warned about! There is a caring nature in there, wrapped up by an intense, grumbly, sexy as all get out, scary tall dark & handsome man. Who gets what he wants. And at the moment, it’s revenge with a side of Charlotte Van Kempt. Ms. Charlotte is innocence personified, and does what she can to save her family. Including falling into Mason’s clutches. This was riveting. And I NEED the next one!!

Mason has one agenda. Charlotte has her own needs to keep save her family. This is epic and so dang hot I can’t even. Soooo excited about book 2!!! Cannot. Wait

You don’t want to miss this. Amelia Wilde has such an amazing way with words, creating images in your brain, deeply attached to emotions, that leave you quaking. "... Take my first breath of the air. It's like the snap of fabric in a stiff wind. A warning. Something worse is coming." This sums up how I felt through much of this story. The tension winds tighter and tighter as the story unfolds. Charlotte is sweet, young and intelligent, if a bit naïve. Mason is rich, powerful, damaged and bent on revenge against Charlotte's father. As Charlotte struggles to save her family and their business, Mason unleashes his plan to ruin them. He is demanding, harsh and cold, determined to begin his revenge against the father, by defiling the daughter. Charlotte must give him her body to save her family. As desire sparks between them, their heat begins to burn them both. As their lives begin to twist together, snippets of the past are revealed, leaving you to wonder, who is the real monster here?

Mason Freaking Hill, Oh My!!. You don’t want to miss this!! You don’t want to miss Mason Hill. Oh my gosh! Mason is an arrogant, alphahole. He has only one thing on his mind. Revenge. Sweet revenge, and Charlotte is who he plans on using to get it. All Charlotte wants is to save her family. Is she willing to whatever it takes to save them? Amelia has done it once again and has just hooked me into her book. She has left me wanting so much more of Mason Hill. This is filled with some suspense, lies, secrets, hate, anger, lust, guilt, betrayal and some twists. Oh my, the twists were….wow!! Don’t want to slip and say something. Just trust me and read this. Get pulled into a world filled with deceit and revenge. The chemistry between these two is hot and you can feel the tension. When that tension snaps, watch out. What happens when there are truths revealed? You will see just how evil and mean some people can be, and how hurt and betrayed others will be.

Too Much Rambling. I usually really enjoy Wilde’s books, but this one seemed to go on and on with unnecessary details, analogies, and rambling thoughts. There was very little action or conversation to keep me interested. Also, the continued use of the same word/ phrase three times in a row was a little annoying (Stop it. Stop it. Stop it.). However, I must say that the storyline is still intriguing enough that I’m tempted to give the second book a chance to see what happens. 🤞

Not good. I love a good alpha male story but this is not it….Mason was too demeaning and the girl was too naive. I kept pushing through hoping it would get somewhere but it didn’t. Found myself getting frustrated while reading. No character development

Awesome read. This series is amazing!! I’ve been looking for a series ro catch my eye again and this one did it.

A must read. I was anxiously waiting for diving into Mason and Charlotte's story after reading the prequel and it was absolutely phenomenal . A brillant start of this new series and has me hooked to this series . A dark romance with Alpha hero seeking vengeance . Mason checks all the boxes . Charlotte is her innocent heroine her family business is at the brink of bankruptcy and she ends up being the innocent pawn in Masons plan for vengeance. The plot is captivating and I was hooked to the story and couldn't put it down. The story is full of intrigue and suspense and I cant wait for the next book . Definitely a must read

Decent way to pass some time. The story has good bones but it’s slow paced compared to other books Ms Wilde has written. Towards the end started to feel like a chore to finish it.
