One of my Favorites this year. Loved Loved Loved this book. I could not put it down. Such a great sequel to The Family Upstairs. This book is a must!

Read other Jewels books instead. Oddly, I read the first book in pursuit of being able to read this one because this one had sounded much more interesting. It was not. It did tie up loose ends nicely, which is always satisfying, but, for me, it simply pails in comparison to other Lisa Jewel books. Concerted efforts to finish it. Don’t recommend.

Way to much back and forth. I’m used to books that change narrators and times, but this novel carries it to the extreme, making it very difficult to follow the timeline. There was a huge cast of characters, and even though I’d read the first and 2nd novels in the series there’s been a lot of time and lots of other novels in between those readings and this book. It’s not enjoyable to spend so much time confused. None of the characters are good people or likable, even though they experienced trauma in the past. For these reasons I give this novel just 2 stars and I cannot recommend reading this book. It’s a swing and a miss in my opinion.

Almost perfect. Sequels almost always disappoint me. But this follow on to The Family Upstairs was almost perfect. I lived every page of it. EXCEPT the epilogue. It almost ruined the book for me. Almost. But not quite.

Wonderful sequel. I was so happy to revisit with these characters that I grew to care about from the first book. I enjoy Lisa Jewell’s writing style. I feel it was a nice send off to all of the characters.

Edge of seat!. Absolutely perfectly written! I don’t usually buy a book unless it’s a hard copy I can hold but when I finished “the family upstairs” I couldn’t wait for Amazon to deliver the sequel so I bought the ebook and dove right in! So many nights I fought my eyelids because I just couldn’t put it down! 10/10! Love how it all came together!

Loved it!. Another great one by Lisa Jewell! Not many authors can paint characters in my head quite like her. Couldn’t put it down! Now to wait for her next…

Nice. I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed part 1

Not Good. I usually love the books from this Author but this one is unreadable. Too many different storylines . Very confusing.

Very surprised. After reading the Family Upstairs I was hesitant to start this one. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how the author wrapped everything up. The end of the first book left me wanting to know more. Lisa Jewell certainly delivered with this sequel.

The Family Again. Loved stepping back into the life of the Lamb children! I enjoy Lisa Jewel’s writing so much, and she once again sets out a mystery that pulls you into the story.

Major dislike. Just didn’t get it at all. Struggled to finish.

Couldn’t put down!. Just wish someone the character intertwines weren’t so predictable. But the others weren’t so made it up ten fold (and the beautiful writing style!)

Both were page turner’s. I read both book in a week and it was so worth it
