Just enough. Just enough romance to not be too “much” and just enough battle to not be overpowered with it. All parts of happy, sad, romance, war, and magic very evenly written.

I loved it. The story and the narration got me hooked.

I love Fae books and these are awesome!. I love reading books about the Fae and these were amazing! Quick read but I loved 1-6 starting 7-9 soon!

Fun!. I think the plot is very fun. The way it’s written is a little interesting in a very “young adult” kind of way! I do love how the author references to all the other fantasy stories that seem to have influenced their story line. It’s a fun story and I’m interested to see where it goes.

Can’t wait to read the others!. I did not like Brea much. I found myself sympathetic to her through the whole book, but until the big reveal at the end of the book I did not like her much. I am very intrigued by Alona and I can’t wait to read more from her point of view. I like how the series is shaping and I can’t wait for more! I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Great book!. The book is really well written and done in such a way that the suspense is kept until the end. The FC is funny and very relatable with her fears and moments of braveness. Eager to read the next one.

A good read. Even though it sort of resembles A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES it spins it’s own tale of treachery and love all really well written.
