Sweet and funny. Darby Grace is returning to the only place she thinks of as home, a successful writer ,whose books have become screenplays is creatively blocked and is hoping Pine Valley is the place her creativity will return. She left Pine Valley and handsome Hopper O’Reilly ten years ago but has never forgotten their love. The story starts with her hitting a raggedy chicken, being stopped by the police for a hit and run on said chicken and the hilarity ensues. There is an angry, neurotic goat as well as Hopper’s dog Beaudry who attaches to Darby like she is theirs. Hopper is still angry with her for leaving and never coming back but as they spend time together trying to help out Alice who is like a mother to them both they begin to trust and fall back in love.The goat is hysterical,the chicken as well and lets not forget the gossips and helpful towns people. This was a sweet, funny book and I would recommend to everyone.

Laughed out loud and loved this book!. I adore this book! Darby Grace is a novelist who hit it big, like Hollywood movie, Theme park big. When her world gets too out of control, she retreats to the one place she felt herself. But she hasn’t been there in ten years and things weren’t settled when she left. Hopper O’Reilly is the unsettled business. I really liked both of these people. They have a common goal that brings them together. The differences have to take a back seat to the one they both hold dear. In doing so they find they have feelings that are still in their hearts. I’m not sure how I felt about Hopper. He is surely with good reason but he can be downright mean to Darby. Darby understands and works her way back into his better side. It helps that she doesn’t speak about LA. Her life there is put on hold while she finds her inspiration again. I’m hoping there will be more from this town and these crazy people. This Book had the Best of Everything!. Stephie Klaire has a knack for writing just absolutely fantastic romance books that draw you in and hold on tight until the very end. Darby and Hopper's story is a second chance romance, with a little bit of small town gossip, and Brother's Keeper thrown in there for good measure. Just adored this romance, and as always am beyond excited to see what's in store next from Stephanie! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Laugh out loud, feel good story.. 5 Stars Darby Grace, author extraordinaire, became an overnight success and has been in LaLa land for the last ten years. But lately, she has been so overwhelmed with everything that is her life, she feels the need to escape. The only place she can think to escape to is the place she feels is home, Pine Valley, Oregon. Hopper O’Reilly can’t believe his eyes when the woman that broke his heart so long ago shows back up. Even though he still has deep feelings for her, he’s not welcoming at all. His walls are built so high, it will take Darby a wrecking ball to break them down. I loved everything about this story, even Linda lol. There’s plenty of small town and second chances…and gossip! With Darby back in town, there’s plenty of gossip to go around. She can’t make a move without Evelyn posting about it on her social media. The O’Reilly’s and Pine Valley are back!. O’Reilly’s and Pine Valley are back and what a treat we have from Stephanie. There is nothing I didn’t like about this book and everything I loved. Writing as Stephie, I know we are going to have a fun story and we do. From a crazy goat to a weird chicken, Pine Valley seemed to be a normal sleepy town until Darby Grace returns. I loved that she could disappear from LA leaving all her troubles behind - okay so maybe a little jealous. Rekindling old loves and finding new love with the guys from Brothers Keepers coming by, made this a perfect story.

Fun, sweet second chance. You know you're in for a fun ride when a chicken and a goat play a supporting role in the cast of quirky characters in this fun, sweet second chance romance. Darby returns to the place she felt the most at home when she has a terrible case of writers block and reconnects with her first love, Hopper. Will they be able to reconnect and get over the hurt caused when Darby left for Hollywood 10 years ago? Will they get there HEA? It was fun to reconnect with some memorable characters in this quirky little town!

Feel good read!. This is one of those books that you completely read without realizing it. Hopper and Darby’s story is so easy and fun to read that you’ll be on the last page before you know it. It’s the perfect story to read these lazy days with a cup of cocoa on the side. After over ten years, Darby’s back in Pine Valley and will find more than just her inspiration and some quirky animals that are just the cherry on top of this delightful read.

Loved it!!. I loved this one!! It is sweet, funny, sassy & small town drama! Ms. St. Klaire has a way with words that puts you right in the middle of the story as a participant, not a reader. You feel the characters emotions & feel like they are three dimensional beings, not one dimensional paper. Having lived in a small town, I know all about the town busybodies spreading gossip & the sweetheart old ladies trying to stop them. This is another fantastic addition to the stories Ms. St. Klaire has us in love with.
