Fast and fun. This was a fun and fast paced read about two elves. Holly can’t stand Christmas but gets roped into doing a Secret Santa with her flat mates and that causes her to meet Chris, who loves Christmas. A character piece focused on two seemingly similar characters who had different experiences that led to different attitudes and perspectives... when they come together each has something to give, and to learn. Holly and Chris. Holly didn’t like Christmas because of the way kids used to treat her in grade school since she was an elf. Went to get a secret Santa gift at the soap store and Chris was greeting people as they came in he helped Holly buying her gift. Then she asked him out for a drink and they went to quiz night they won! Had a few dates, she started liking Christmas with Chris’s help. Good book!. Wholesome Christmas Fun!. Holly is an elf who’s not a fan of Christmas. Chris is an elf who like Christmas, and he aims to show Holly the fun to be had at Christmas time. I loved how cute these two were together - so sweet I almost got a toothache! A perfect little story for the holiday season.
