The Younger Gods Book Reviews
The Younger Gods by David Eddings & Leigh Eddings Book Summary
In the thrilling conclusion to The Dreamers, the Vlagh prepares for one merciless attack that will pit her forces against the might of both the Elder Gods and the Younger Gods. All may be for naught, however, if the allies fail to respond to the fact that one within their ranks is losing her mind.
The end of twenty-five eons has arrived: now the four Elder Gods will be replaced by the Younger Gods. During this transition, the greatest danger comes not from the Vlagh, who breeds her largest and deadliest insectoid army for a final war on Dhrall, but from Aracia, an Elder God. Aracia has grown addicted to the worship of mortals and believes a young deity wants to usurp her glory. Eager to stay in power forever, the Elder God plans the unthinkable: to murder one of the Younger Gods. But in her madness, Aracia forgets that the Elder Gods are forbidden to take life-as a principle of existence. If she kills the child deity, it will cause the absolute unmaking of all creation...

Outlanders. I really enjoy this series. I was a little disappointed that the outlanders didn’t get there gold though. I know that when the gods went back in time so that misty waters was never killed that it meant that the outlanders were never really there. I just feel that they were sort of cheated is all.
Final chapter completely invalidates the whole story. The final chapter of this book completely invalidates the entire series. Without giving away details, it basically goes back into time and erases all of the events from the previous 3 books.
Star ratings. I can't give this series a one star AND a five star! As always the characters were lovable the story vast. I absolutely hated the ending! I felt like it cheated me. I can't say more for those who choose to read it. The story of Eleria & Longbow is worth the read in themselves.
Another fun Eddings read. I read the entire series and enjoyed it. So far I've enjoyed everything the Eddings have written. Easy reading and a unique story idea I was now fond of how the sections shifted the voice especially the occasions of first person since it was used so rarely. When the back drop of other characters were told there was quite a bit of repetition and some Of the characters behavior wasn't consistent with how they were described. But even with all that I loved the stories and will continue to read stories by Eddings.
Useless. Boring and awful.
