Terrible book. Stupid book ,stupid story ,

The Meaning of Matthew. Heartfelt story from his mother's recollections. Wonderful synopsis of Matthew's life, struggles, and untimely death. I am amazed at the level his parents were able to 'keep their emotions in check.' If a prosecutor or investigator were to tell me this under these circumstances, I don't think I would have the strength, nor the courage exhibited by Judy and Dennis Sheppard.

Honestly A Great Book. This is a great book for anyone to read. There is so much story here and if you step back and realize this actualy happened to a person, family, nation and world it truly can make you cry. I recommend it to anyone and everyone I know

We are all Matt Shepard. Moving and beautiful. He could have been anyone I knew at that age. Thank you Judy for sharing your side of he story.

The Matthew Shepard Foundation was a major influence in this legislation. So again, thank you for all you have done. Buy this book, read it and learn. It won't be easy. At times I had to put it down because I couldn't see the words through my tears.
