The Cross and the Switchblade. The book itself is fantastic!!!! The edition that I downloaded to my iBooks was rife with grammatical errors, however. Purchase a hard copy and you will not have that problem. =)

Amazing despite the numerous typos. I'm not Pentecostal, but Christ, the Father and the Spirit are truly exalted in this beautiful story. Though I may disagree in points of theology, the regenerative work of the Spirit is clearly demonstrated in the stories of the people in this book. Thank you Jesus, for Mister Wilkerson.

Great book! Encouraging and powerful. A sincere book that crosses all denominations and focuses on the truth of God's loving word, on the wonderfully impacted teens in NYC as experienced by the late Pastor David Wilkerson, and on the power of the Holy Spirit as witnessed and personally experienced by thousands of teenagers in NYC. I loved the movie, but now I know why everyone says that the book is much better!
