Excellent Fast Paced J P Beaumont Book. Wonderfully complex and believable characters and situations.

No more PB&J, please!. The overall story line was engaging, but I would prefer if the cutesy aphorisms were dropped, leaving more room for deeper character development on some of the secondary characters, like Don and Barry in this book. And, while not an outright malaprop, unexpected expressions like “... no skin off my teeth” make no sense and are annoying. I believe the expression “no skin off my nose” would be more apropos. I can’t think of other such expressions, but I just remember being annoyed for the same reason. And, what’s with all the meals comprised of PB&J?! Really? I find it hard to believe that is a go to dinner for the average middle class American. And, it’s become a very predictable prop in all your books from Beaumont to Brady. Boring!
