Years ago, Lucas Davenport almost died at the hands of Clara Rinker, a pleasant, soft-spoken, low-key Southerner, and the best hitwoman in the business. Great read. Older time frame, but a real “page turner” and I’ve never used that term before. This one is terrific.
Can’t put it down. Form the moment the book starts its action packed and doesn’t stop.

My favorite Prey book. Best villain. Most compelling plot. This is far and way my favorite Davenpot/Prey novel.
Excellent. I'm reading the books in order, and after a disappointing "slump" in books 10 and 11, books 12 and 13 are definitely getting better. Let's see what happens next in Lucas' new assignment.
