Shock. Any book that requires you to buy a sequel to find out what the outcome of the entire book is an underhanded and illegitimate way to make reader buy the next book. Too bad.

Shock. I was interested all through the whole book but the ending was a huge letdown. I love Robin Cook novels but this ending was not up to par.

Unfinished. Despite the fact that it was a good read and raced toward a very suspenseful conclusion, the biggest surprise here is the abrupt and inconclusive ending. A disappointment.
