Get it!!!!. Ok I am a freak about Darren Shan I love his books and this one is another one to that list.... If you like larten get this great book and read it!!! Also i think that Darren Shan should make a alternate ending 2 his cirque du freak books he was suppose to have 18 books but stopped he should change the endings and publish them because truthfully I was sad how it ended... Not gonna give any spoilers here but he should make an alternate ending!!!! Ok so aka get this book don't start to read it until you have all the books because when u r waiting for them it is painful so yah....

Larten crepsley series. I had my doubts of any book or series being as good as "Cirque Du Freak", but this is defiantly a good book to start off the beginning of Larten Crepsley's life as a vampire. I can't wait to read the other 3 and see if it leads into of how he met Darren Shan! I defiantly recommend this boom after reading the "Cirque Du Freak" series. I think I might even start it over after reading this one!

It was great. This was a great book, but it wasn't as good as the Cirque du Freak, but it's definitely worth it. It really brings out the character of Larten Crepsley and shows the relationships better.

Birth of a killer. Absolutely amazing I literally couldn't put it down I read it strait through and it was great. Darren Shan is my favorite author and this book has joined the ranks of my favorites ever. If you like cirque du freak then this is perfect for you.
