My favorite. This book is probably my favorite. The twist the turns and the pain. How far would you go to do what needed to be done for your child when it means destroying relationships. The ending left me stunned and mad. I was at work and finished and started fussing and the coworker asked what happened. I told her I just couldn’t believe what had happened. I can never anticipate the endings but this one left me stunned.

Strange. Very different. I would not read again. Depressing. And surprising ending.

Great!. One of my favorite Picoult books. This shows the true raw nature of a human.. Charlotte acts on all the thoughts the rest of us hide away.

Fantastic. Not always my favorite writer, but this was a page turner with a heart filed ending, worth a read!

I read this book and cried at the end and I usually don't cry this book is so touching and made me look at people differently this such an amazing book but should have age restrictions please don't allow anyone underage 12 otherwise this book might be a little disturbing to them this is such am amazing book highly recommended

Hated it. I should have just given up but couldn’t after i invested myself - truly disappointing in every way. Hated the mother and there was no development or closure with the other characters. Spare yourself a waste of a read in my opinion. Nothing redeeming and a horrible ending. And a terrible subject to begin with - ugh - the mom! Being a mom did not in any way shape or form see her reasoning - just awful.

Handle with Care. I have read almost all of Jodi Picoult's books. This is one of my favorites! Every parent should read. It makes you question yourself and what you would do as a parent in this situation. This book will definitely stay with me.

Handle with Care. I really like the story when it doesn't go off for several pages with recipes...... I don't understand why it is necessary to put it in the story, it does not add any interest. Also I dont like when a letter by a character in the book is written with one to 3 words per line. It's a waste of space.

Handle with care. While the book was well written, I was disappointed at the end, when the story ended extremely similar to My Sister's Keeper! I wasted two days reading a very similar book to one that I have already read.

Heartbreakingly amazing. There were so many moments I found myself having to put this one down to gather myself. As always, Picoult, portrays each characters emotions, thoughts, and actions so vividly. Picoult is one of my favorite authors and this book is in my top 10 hands down. I encourage you to give it a read!

It was good.. I was really caught up in the story, but the end ruined it for me. Just like "My Sister's keeper", I could've put money on it happening too. The book keeps you reading but the ending disappoints immensely. Oh well, at least I learned about OI.

Wonderfully sad. This is the third book from this author that I have read and I would say it is the best so far (other books were House Rules and My Sisters keeper). The family dynamics were realistic of what you would typically find in households with a disabled child. The ending was a surprising one but that it what this author is known for,along with tackling social issues.

Gut wrenching. The family in this story is very relatable in their mixed feelings and reactions as the story unfolds. The information about OI is heart breaking. The ups and downs of all the characters…gut wrenching. Picoult has a way of educating you and causing you to think and rethink your own perspectives.

Simply astonishing. This def was as Jodi said the saddest book she's ever written....it was a roller coaster of emotions for me. The ending was so farfetched I didn't believe it until I reread it. It's a beautiful and tragic story of a family and what they endure to do what's best. There are no books by comparison that can top handle with care.....an absolute must read for mothers, fathers, siblings and anyone who thinks their core cannot b shaken.

really moving. good story, well thought out and well written

Too predictable. This story was like many of other Picoult’s same books with a slightly different flavour. Too predictable, too unrealistic when you look at all the details in the plot, and when finished, it left me wanting more in a “there was too much missing” sort of way. It was an unsatisfying read.
