Awesome VC twisted "Twilight". What fans have been waiting for!

Daughter of Darkness. What a great book!! Perfect timing with the vampire idea, I think it was as great as all the other V.C Andrews books, witch I already own!! This is a book you can't put down. I read it in three day's that's slow for me. It has so many twist and turns that I thought I would wreck! If you are a first time V.C. Andrews reader or a lifer like me, You can't help but love it!! I can't wait to read Family Secrets the latest book! I know it too will be great I can't wait. Thanks again V.C. -_-. This story could've been told with a lot less words. The climax just wasn't a climax. It wasn't bad exactly, just annoying when the main character thinks in circles a billion times. The 'connection' between her & her supposed love just comes off cheap, tacky and fake. It felt like the author took too long building up to a big reveal, but all we got was a tiny fizzle hardly worth fighting through pages of boring dialogue and the heroine's self tortured thoughts to get to. The big reveal was too easy to figure out & anyone could figure it out before getting halfway through the book.

Great Book!. I will definitely buy the sequel.

Boring. Boring and twisted

V.C. Andrews Daughter of Darkness. I was highly disappointed when I read Daughter of Darkness. I've read almost every single V.C. Andrews book written and enjoyed them all. This was a huge let down for a long time fan. It felt like a meager attempt to jump on the vampire bandwagon. I do love books about vampires but this one did not deliver. It took forever to get to the climax and that itself was rushed and poorly executed. I hope the next series is much better and I'm so glad that the old titles are being rereleased as ebooks.
