Good read. I really like this authors writing style and the story line itself was very interesting.. However the characters seem a little dull .. The main ones anyway... Despite that I think it's worth the money spent for a good light hearted happy ending read

Twelve Days is a fun, but well tied together book.. Loved it, am now reading my third Trisha Ashley book in a row! Just what I need whilst feeding my baby, thanks Trisha!

When you're stuck for something to do.... I have just finished this book. I found it very difficult to even like the main characters - both are drawn with pretty unappealing character traits and Holly's note making/Organising/planning made her verge on the brink of being utterly boring! The author has I think attempted to capture the essence of Austen and Bronte, in the way she has fashioned the setting and the inhabitants of this tale. Is it successful? No. However, it wiled away an afternoon and so, if you are really stuck for something to do, it's an option!!

Twelve Days of Christmas. I found this story predictable and the characters boring, especially Holly Brown - simply amazing how any man that looked at her swooned....yawn. Tried another book by the same author as they came in a pack of two and that was as equally boring and exactly the same format.

Twelve days of Christmas. Perfect read for the Christmas break. The Characters were well put together and I could see the whole thing unfolding each time I picked the book up. Would recommend this story, and will now check out the authors other creations.

Perfect Christmas Story. I love this book. It is what it is - the perfect Christmas setting and story. Perhaps not the most exciting plot but, for all of us that have to plan a Christmas, one can empathise with Holly and hope that everything turns out well in the end. The book is a lovely easy read and just perfect for an afternoon's escape from the hectic stress- fuelled Christmas preparations.

Twelve days of Christmas. Fabulous, could not put this book down, others have written that the main characters are dull, I disagree, I enjoyed getting to know them and am grateful for a day spent reading a warming tale. Am now going to buy more Trisha Ashley books.

Engaging. This is the 4th book in Trisha's Lancashire series. So reading (or listening via Audiobook) the others first does make more sense of certain parts.This is more of a stand alone than the others though. Most of the others refer to other characters which were in previous books in the series more than this one does. And I love that. I'd love to live near the characters of this series. I've read & listened to them over & over. Love them to bits. I can't so far get this one or the 5th on Audiobook though which is annoying.

I loved it!. This was my first book I've ever read by this author and I loved it. The characters draw you in and you feel like you're one of the family. I just wish the story didn't end so abruptly, it needs another few chapters or even a second book so that we know what happens to everyone. It's a lovely easy read.

Not so merry.. Not only is it unnecessary to end every third sentence with an exclamation mark, but the writing is incredibly clunky and patronizing. Give your readers a bit of credit and don't bludgeon them over the head with your reoccurring themes. Disappointing.

As usual love!. I would really love a sequel for this story, I really love all the characters, so engaging, I was half expecting a Christmas special this year...
