Eh. Cannot believe what a screw up EVERYONE in the book seemed to become. Well I guess except for Bruce Patman!! Not one happy one and they all cheat. The storyline between Jessica and Todd made no sense if you by the books we read when we were younger. Poorly written. I wanted to slam my head against the wall reading all the like, likes that like jessica kept like saying!

Childhood RIP. This was horrible. I understand the need to grow them but to make Elizabeth and Jessica compete with Gossip Girls at their worst is a tragedy. They were sweet girls that dealt with life problems in non scandalous heartbreaking way. The ruin of the twins bond and relationship never should've happen the way it did and especially over Todd! And that is the second huge tragedy. Who they end up with is all so wrong. FP ruin my childhood series trying to keep up with the times. RIP Sweet Valley High. I wish I'd let you rest in adolescent life. Now your forever tainted.

Just not at all what I thought I might expect.. I loved SVT and SVH. I think at 33 I still have a box full of them.I was excited when I learned of this book. I was just very taken aback by the story line. Though It was well written and a good read...it was hard to get past what the twins became. Especially Jessica.

Sweet Valley Confidential. From the time that I bought this book I couldn't put it down. All the twisted action. All the secrets that everyone held. Wow I recommend. If you liked any of the Sweet Valley Series. You will not be disappoint with this book.

Ehhh. It was ok.. Waited for more to happen that never did.

Great!. Francine did it again!!

Excellent read. Loved it!!!!!

A blast from the past!. I loved the book. It was not very deep, but a fun read that reminded me of my childhood!

Sweet Valley Confidential. Awesome read!

Well it was..... HORRIBLE!!!!!!! everyone else has pointed out (most of) the flaws....I don't even care to bother with the ones they've missed.

Biggest dissapointment!. Ok, I've just finished the book, now can we pretend this book never existed and stick with the good old memories? Biggest dissapointment, Liz and Todd 4ever!

LuvIt!!!!!. Luvd it so much!!!!! Ahhh how sweet going back to my middle school years with my BFF all of them, when we used to pass the books along so we can all read them & gossip about it lol!, Francine Pascal is an amazing writer & this is def. a good book to read!!! Download it & read it all the way!!!

Just as I remembered. The good and the bad. But who can't resist revisiting a guilty pleasure from their teens!

Sweet Valley Confidential. I was pretty excited to read the book. I was a big fan of sweet valley high. It was kind of weird ready about Jessica and Todd because he was always with Elizabeth. However I actually liked Todd and Jessica together. It was a good book. I was interested all the way to the end of the book.

Good attempt at a tween classes. Story was a bit far fetched from the beginning, but after the baseline of the story was given, the chapters passed quickly. Tough to start but worth it; brings you back to the Sweet Valley High days for a shirt time.

Like coming home. Growing up these characters were like family to me. I'd get lost in each and every series for hours, knowing each plot by heart. Catching up with them as an adult was both nostalgic and natural---a real treat of escapism.

Sweet Valley Confidential. I hadn't read any SV books since high school. So nice to come across this today and catch up with the Wakefield crew. I read this within the day. Hope there is more to come!!

Eh..... The writing was pretty bad, the only good thing was "catching up" on everyone's lives. I might get the following series, if they are under $4.

It was JUST okay.... Not quite as engulfing as the SV books I read as a kid. Not even as enticing as the SVU series. I was beyond annoyed with Jessica's "voice". How many times could she say "like" & "so"??? And for such a ditz, her successful career was a little hard to believe. Don't get me started on Steven Wakefield. Ugh a sloppy attempt at trying to be "with it". However, as a fan of the old SV books, I was glad to see an adult wrap-up. I doubt there'll be anymore and, if the author plans on continuing writing in this fashion, then that's a good thing :(

What?!?. Wait a minute. When did Elizabeth leave England? What happened to Max? Did those books not count anymore?! Elizabeth and Todd broke up, and for a reason. They tried to get back together in one of those offshoot side books that weren't directly in the series, but realized they just didn't have "it" anymore. (Yes, I am somewhat embarrassed I remember this so well.) Sweet Valley twins books were a huge part of my childhood. This book does not seem to fit into those at all. It's not just the story line (which seems somewhat ludicrous but whatever, I could take that), it's also the total disregard for the writing (I started to cross out the word "like" because its prominence was so disturbing). Some of the story was funny, such as the "what happened to everyone" at the end (which read like an episode of the Real Housewives franchise), but mostly I was severely disappointed.

Meh. This book is entertaining but really badly written. If you can put aside the bad writing (how did we read this stuff as kids???), it's good to reconnect with some characters from our youth. If you never read anything Sweet Valley don't read this book, it's a waste of time.
