Missing photos. Like all of Jim Steinmeyer's books, this one is terrific. However, the iBooks edition does not include the 8 pages of photographs in the hardcover book. Given the graphic capabilities of the iPad, this omission is incomprehensible. RWB
A bit disappointing. I enjoy magic and illusions but I guess my preference is to see them rather than read about it. Great reviews so I expected more. Hard to picture all the illusions described but Thurston surely an unforgettable character...EAF
Thurston. This is a great story told by a man who knows how to tell a story. Very well done.
Fabulous. I have enjoyed ever book I have read from Steinmeyer with each eager read. His research is fantastic and his voice takes me to a time I have always longed to know. I am a working magician for corporate events, and have a poster of Thurston on my wall, it was nice to finally meet him through this book.
