Hard topic, quick read. Interesting story with a gruesome plot. It is worth reading, though not a literary masterpiece. Characters could have been developed more and some of the items introduced were not closed by the end.

The Bone Yard. Not as full of action and adventure as their other books, but a good tale none-the-less.

I love a mystery and this one doesn't disappoint!. Great story with historical impact leaving a sadness for those who came before and the cruelty they faced at the hands of people who were sworn to care for and protect them. Justice is served for the characters and the fictional story ends well. It is hoped by the reader that the same was done for the nonfictional people the story is based on.

The Bone Yard. A very good read. I would recommend the book to all fiction lovers. It was a tad slow in the beginning but soon came together and kept me interested. I am now looking forward to reading another of Mr. Bass's books.

Bone Yard -a must read. I really enjoyed this book. Will read more and perhaps some of the research articles the authors researched. When reading I did look up the 1934 lynching in Marianna FL referenced in the story...as very disturbing, as the abuse of the "boys reformatory".

Great read. Another great read from Jefferson Bass. The story was heart wrenching but told well. Just a suggestion for you. Please don’t use the term “squaw” it’s degrading and unnecessary.
