Solid. Solid if overlong—with better editing The Sicilian could have been a terrific novella. Puzo’s fictional retelling of the life and exploits of Salvatore Giuliano is particularly effective when assessing the impact of Sicilian culture and history on the characters. Although held back by obvious padding—Michael Corleone’s appearance in particular is unnecessary—The Sicilian is nonetheless a fine read that as literature is vastly superior to The Godfather.
Puzo at his best!!. I've read many Puzo books and this is definitely one the best, Top 3....a movie was made on it years back, but didn't adapt well to this masterpiece. Wish they would remake a movie for it that will do this book justice.
Turi. Great book. Before I read I had never known that Michaiel Corleone was in it. Sometimes I felt like I was in Guliano's band!!!
This book doesn’t work on mac. If you are satisfy with reading on phone or iPad that’s fine- if Mac than format doesn’t work at all
