A noumenal love. Simple and direct. Full of noumenal love. The book brought tears to my eyes, and made my heart smile. Frey poses great points and sheds light on what should be prioritized in our world through his characters, characters which he seemed to have really embodied. I recommended the book to everyone I know and have gotten a good amount glued. It had definitely become one of my favorites and I hope it does well and that everyone reads it. 😊

Another hit. Another wonderful book from Frey. No one can write a creative compelling story like this guy. Thank you for writing books that make a person think.

Life changing. The most amazing book I have read in a while, definitely one of my top favorites, please read this book no matter what religion you are, Christian, Muslim, Jewish or you don't believe in god just read this book.

This Novel Will Make You Question Everything You Thought You Once Believed. Easily the most interesting, and mind boggling novel I have ever had the pleasure to read. I highly recommend this story to anybody with an open mind, and willingness to step outside of what you think you believe into a whole new thought pattern. A MUST READ

"Wow". This Book was a real religion wake up call, I could not put it down. Great job James. I have felt similar about God and Church,But was alway's referred to as an Atheist, Which I am not. I refer to myself as more Scientific, feel, touch, see. God is Love.

Great Fast Read. I am truly a fan of James Frey and was hesitant to read this because of the subject matter, but I am so glad I did. This book was excellent and that's all I will write as not to spoil it.

The final testament of the holy bible. I'm an avid reader with a pretty short list of books that I've fallen in live with. I already knew I was really you g to like this one, as James Frey is one if my favorite authors, however this one is AMAZING! It instantly became one if my top five favorites ever cuts a must read. I'm buying copies for everyone in my family for Christmas.

Thought provoking. James Frey pushes the limits with a fictional account of the second coming. It is thought provoking, but mostly entertaining with a character-driven plot that pulls you in chapter after chapter. It's a great beach read with plenty of sex to almost seem like a trashy novel, but it may also make you question your faith, or at least rethink the true meaning of life - simple yet complex. I say don't over think it and enjoy the read.

Read it!!!!. I love James Frey and I fell in love with this story, what a wonderful idea to love and live and not worry.....

Good book. I felt it dragged a bit but during the key points it was really good...made me look at my own faith a little differently even tho this is just a story it's still somthing to think about

Leaves you wondering.. This book was amazing!! It you have ever questioned such things like god and religion, I recommend that you read this book. I still question everything I ever thought about my beliefs and it's kind of scary because what if this book is true? What if everything we have been believing was a lie? I wish I could talk to James Frey and ask if this book was fiction or non-fiction and who these characters and stories were based on and if it all happened to him or someone he knew? Love the book!!!!!

The Last Testament of the Holy Bible. The story caught my attention in the beginning but degraded into a repetitive mantra on what I assume is the authors philosophy of life concerning religion, politics, homosexuality, and abortion disguised as a fiction novel. Live and let live without consequences for there is no hope. A bleak outlook on life that practically screamed its support of atheism and a lewd lifestyle and I don't consider myself overly religious. It was like a movie I wished I'd walked out on.

Thought provoking!!!. This book will make you think about the power of love, the control of religion and if you are lucky, you will find some truth in what Ben teaches.

such a masterpiece. and so common for geniuses to be villified... remember when the satanic verses came out and everyone was so outspoken even though half od the people, maybe more, hadn't even read it.. this is the greatest american writer living today. face it!

Best book I've ever read. My mind has been blown

Loved it reading. For everyone interested in religious matters, no matter if you are a believer or not, this book is entertaining, moving and opens up some interesting concepts about God. The only - I would give is that it is very focused on American society.

A Final Testament?. A provocative book. Well written and easy to follow. It is possible Mr. Frey is trying only to push the buttons of those bound by religion. Yet instead I thought he let the story end in an inauthentic way. Once Ben had to face the establishment, the book would have been far more compelling if Ben had participated in the final chapters. The ending was too weak compared to the beginning and central plot. Mr Frey took an amazing concept and was executing it so well until the final few chapters, almost as if he was unclear as to what other avenue he could walk. Well worth the read if only for the questions the reader is left with about what does define faith and how does unconditional devine love manifest itself in mankind

The final testament of the holy bible.. Wow. Such a powerful story of a believable character. Each chapter such an impacting connection to what Ben was about. Like the first messiah, he died by the hands of mans stupidity and would not prove to them what they knew by coming back to life. I was hoping this chapter would have ended differently and was not mad.

Very Engrossing Overall, but Preaching to the Choir. Frey has said this novel is his attempt at trying to write a valid religious text for today's society. Personally, I think he falls short of that goal, but has written a great story about a modern-day Christ. My biggest complaint is that the ending, without giving anything away, is pretty weak, skipping over a plot-point that could have been a fantastic climactic point for the book. I was expecting something a bit more epic but got something somewhat unsatisfying. Also, there's no earth-shattering message that at least I see changing anyone for real; Ben Zion's message is basically preaching to the post-modern, millennial secularist society that has been growing rapidly in the past few decades. The message, however, is a good one (from my point of view) and it's interesting to see it told in a format such as this. Where the book shines is it's prose that can be very beautiful at times and deeply moving, especially near the middle of the book. Frey's best feat is his character development; you get engrossed in all of these very relatable character's lives and how they relate to Ben. None of them feel forced and all of them feel very authentic. Overall, this novel isn't the masterpiece it claims to be, but is definitely a great story that I would recommend, regardless of what you believe. Just don't expect any revelations.

Ehhh.. There is a universal theology out there that the greatest works of art tap into and resonate in our hearts as truth. This book doesn't really do that. It's really kind of petty when it comes to the big messages Ben the messiah is bringing to people. It was fun to read but really came up short for the creativity of an establishment rattling message that might come from someone like this. There was also just a lot of stereotypical nonsense in the characters that were presented. But hey, maybe it's a great literary masterpiece.

Speechless. I am a writer, who unlike others, don't judge James Frey, but think he's on the level of one we all dream of being. He's genius, bottom line. This book will rock the entire world. I guarantee. Brace yourself for the Tsunami....

Loved it!. Rarely do I come across a book that grips me like Frey's latest work. I found it profound, funny, heartbreaking and a pointed commentary on religion and current affaires in America. I imagine Frey got the inspiration for this from his Step 2 work, if he does it. Definite read for anyone interested in a new view of religion!

The final testament of the Holy Bible. Very interesting book. It makes you think about life, love, religion and why we are on earth. I can't say that I've figured it out, meaning life, but I liked the ideas that Frey had. We defintely need change in this world.

Five stars!. Amazing book! As soon as I started reading it I got hooked! Reading it is like sitting in front of each character and listening to them speak. It feels real, human, and philosophical without any pretension.
