Best book in the world. I had just gotten my iPhone Saturday and right away I got the I books app then I got this book an I loved it so much I would recommend it to any one. But I would have rated it 10 stars

Dean Murray is an awesome writer. All Deans books are so gripping, they draw you in and the characters come alive ( you have a movie playing out in your head). They are so good. I love this book, at first I wasn't sure what was going on but then it started coming alive and drew me in, I am so hooked. I am still hooked on Alec and Adri from the santuary pack, this book is a different type of story and very good also, check out all his books you won't be disappointed.

Rise of the dragon's. Amazing and adventurous nice details to the story the best fantasy book I've read so far.

Good Immersion. An unusual harsh setting for a time honored story. Characters have depth and development is steady. Perhaps the book cover title and “Arthur-ian” Sword imbedded in Ice - are a bit misleading - because this is no retelling of the Arthur Legend. It is a classic story base nonetheless and a worthy read.

Yawn. Boring

Fantastic story! Would totally read again!. It's not often that I like books told from a boys viewpoint, but Va'del is a refreshingly original character.

Chronicle Books. Excellent books all characters have great depth . After reading a few chapters I found myself linked to their unfolding story. Cheering in the background when they over came each problem and tragedy put before them. Thank you for such a fast paced and enjoyable set of books. Brilliant ! ! !

Detailed world building. This story has a well-constructed world and interesting groups of characters, although some of the aggressive personalities do seem to be one dimensional. However, the main character arouses sympathy for him and that allegiance grows with the unjustifiable pressures and prejudices that he faces. It’s a good book, with intriguing hints of further developments in both the physical settings and the growth of the main characters. It’s worth reading, so enjoy it!
