Sons and Daughters of Russ Take Notice. This book is an excellent piece of Space Wolf fluff and I felt this felt far "wolfier" than Abnett's portrayal of the chapter. In addition to excellent Wolfiness, this book also provides some nice gems for the Thousand Sons as well. This is a read that is hard to put down.

Awesome. This was a great read for me, just come off the high of reading helsreach and battle of the fang certainly carried on the action an made me not want to put this book down. There,s great depth into the characters and it has really made me want to read a lot more about the space wolves

Awesome story. Superb story, well written and totally engrossing. Struggling to put it down as I just want to know what happens next.

Quality read. A great book for avid fans of Warhammer. Slowly builds up the story but keeps you entertained all the way through.

There's no wolves on fenris. Good read, good pace, good to read more of the history of the space wolves after the heresy.

Stirring stuff. Provides the requisite amount of drama, action, dark humour and enough plot to keep you excited. This is a true spiritual successor to A Thousand Sons and Prospero Burns, with many references to the events mentioned in those books. While its not essential to red those first, you would certainly gain a greater application for this book if you do so. There are some great scenes and characters here. The telling of Helfist and Redmane's first attack and the action on the gun ship is thrilling stuff. Blackwing is a wonderful character and stands out from the others in having a more distinct personality. There are times close to the end where the battle becomes repetitive, but such is the nature of siege stories, and the author does very well to avoid this from happening sooner. If you liked the aforementioned HH books then I would certainly recommend this. The Wolves are shown in all of their furious and flawed glory, and Wraight is more than happy to expose those flaws. Well worth a read and a worth addition to the BL
