Great read!. I am never disappointed in anything Jamie McGuire writes! I become quickly captivated wither her stories. They're mesmerizing.

I want a guardian angel of my own!. Loved, loved, Jared! He had me in tears through the entire story. Felt madly in love with the story, his love for Nina, so much passion It just made me weep for them and their pain to be able to be together. Worth losing sleep, you won't be able to put it down.

I'd pay more for this book! LUVED!. From beginning to end I was entertained & it's a very unique story line! Ms M rules!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Great Read!. Excellent book. Read all 3 in less than a week. From Providence, it was nice to see all the references of my home town. Worth the time. Also loved Jamie's other books. "BEAUTIFUL DISASTER"--- Great book!!!

Providence. Written by Jamie McGuire. This was an excellent love story. The main characters were Nina and Jared. The story just flowed with Nina as a student at Brown University. The story involves her friends at the university and Jared's family. It is full of twists and turns , sad and intriguing plots. It was a 861 page books I read in two days. Ounce you start, you will not want to put it down.

Help. What the first one In the series... ??? I've never read paranormal futuristic ghost??? So I'm Leary , usually just romance but like this author.. Any thoughts....

Found my new favorite author!. After stumbling upon Beautiful Disaster in an airport, I read it within 48hours, and then read it again. Providence is equally addicting. Jamie McGuire has a gift and I can wait to read Requiem, Eden, and Walking Disaster.

Great Book!. I already posted my thoughts on this book! But I am recommending anyone and everyone to go read Beautiful Disaster which is one of Jamie McGuire other books! Soon she will be coming out with another book next year called Walking Disaster which is the point of view of Travis Maddox! Same storyline as Beautiful Disaster but in Travis's point of view!

College Student? Or overgrown toddler with anger issues?. I read the reviews for this book and thought I’d try it out. Seemed interesting enough. I downloaded the sample and started reading and realized how annoying the heroine of this story is. She’s supposed to be a college student, and yet she acts like a two year-old. All she does is throw tantrums whenever something doesn’t work out the way she wanted. What college student stomps their foot and throws stuff around the room crying when they can’t find something? And who falls in love with someone they barely even know, has only known they exist for a week or two, and appears to be stalking them? I couldn’t even finish the sample. I’m a college student and I couldn’t relate to the main character at all, let alone the book.

Beautiful Series!!! Better than Twilight!!!!. These should be made into a movie, so much better than Twilight and LOVE the Twilight books and movies. Must read!!

Great read. I was looking for something to read to hold me over for walking disaster. I stumbled on this series by Jamie. It took about 50 pages to get into the first book and after that I couldn't put it down. Read all three in 4 days. Highly recommend this series!!!!

Meh. Easy read but the story line is the exact line of Twilight. The only difference being that its angels instead of vampires. Female character is typical; weak, self deprecating, and doesn't feel self worth until after meeting a man who is supernatural to make her feel any self confidence.

Providence Reviewed. Jamie McGuire's Beautiful Disaster is brilliant! Sadly, Providence is okay. The book is well written, and I love the idea of the plot. However, I feel that the story did not develop as much as I would have liked. I was not amazed after finishing the book. I feel this book is good. But when I say good, I mean it's a typical YA paranormal/romance novel.

AMAZING YPU HAVE TO READ IT. If you enjoyed twilight, beautiful disaster, thoughtless and effortless then THIS IS A BOOK YOU MUST READ!!! I completely enjoyed beautiful disaster and when I found out Jamie Mccguire wrote others as well I had to read! She did it again this book had romance was EXTREMLY suspenseful and was just An amazing book! YOU HAVE TO READ IT! I could not put the book down I just had to keep reading to find out what would happen next. Can't wait to read the other 2! Already bought them!!

Found it more of a romance rather than an Angel/Demon story.. I'm not understanding the appeal of this story. It certainly is taking a long time to get answers. This story was suppose to be about Angels and Demons and I found very little storyline about them. It was more about Nina and her inability to make decisions. Jack's business partner is after the Port of Providence file. Jared is Nina's protector. This was suppose to be the premise of the story, but instead the story took us on a long journey building Nina and Jared's relationship instead of figuring out where the file is and what is in it. Once it was discovered it quickly was brushed under the rug and forgotten until the Demon came looking for it. It's silly how quickly Ryan and Jared share a love interest in Nina. The story is not all that interesting. The love interests feel forced. Nothing flows naturally. There is no connection but huge gaps of disconnection between characters and the storyline. Nina is annoying and behaves like a spoiled child. She is too needy and insecure. Two guys fighting for time with Nina. There is no depth or growth happening in the story. Too much filler and not enough progression. The small clues that are given are not enough to hold my interest. The story lines gets more and more unrealistic. I figured out what is the most annoying thing about Nina, it's her worrying about what others think. I am not a fan of people or characters with this flaw. Also, her indecisiveness. What is the point of having this annoying character in the story? I read to escape reality and all this story has done is get me annoyed. Too many sub stories taking place. There are many elements in this story and they are not blending well for me.

Rising star!!!!. I've recently read many books and needed to skip over boring monologue. With this author she kept me reading the entire book. Just needs little more action and adventure. Otherwise I loved the book!!!!

Not crazy about it but good. It started sooooo slow. I was literally bored and wasn't hooked on the book for a couple hundred pages. It climaxed at some point. Not terrible though

Couldn't put it down!. I absolutely LOVED this book, I go absolutely NOTHING accomplished for 2 days and I am sure I will do it all over again when I reread it over and over! I can't wait to get the remaining books in the trilogy. There is heartache, suspense, a beautiful love story. I cried and I laughed, I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a great story.

I was a little hesitant.... I wasn't really to thrilled about the whole "supernatural" thing, but I'm so glad I read this book Nina was a little annoying but other than that it was a very good read.

So much potential.... The book had so much to work with but was left a little flat. The subject matter was so different and exciting but that whole dimension was merely touched upon and not explored enough. I also felt the lead female character lacked any real personality and was very unlikeable. Even the action scenes were very rushed and short. I finished feeling like I hadn't really known if I had read a romance, or thriller which is normally a great feeling, but this left me with too many questions about things that really should have been explored......jus sayin

Fabulous. Loved it. It's romantic like Twilight and the depth of the paranormal storyline does a serious justice to the book. The plot is superb, with characters who are strong and it is so easy to lose yourself in the story and feel the emotions of Nina and Jared. So pleased part of a trilogy and very much looking forward to what delights Requiem and Eden will bring.

Very good, very gripping.. I had started this book a couple of months ago, read 5 pages and forgot about it. I then came back to it, restarted it and instantly got sucked into it. I read the whole book over 2.5 days, on holiday. I immediately searched for the others to start reading. Very gripping indeed and I recommend this book to anyone!

Brilliant. I adore this series, Jared and Nina are amazing lead characters, I've read them 3 times and just looking at the front cover of providence makes me wanna read them again.

Providence. Well, the summary of the story on iBooks interested me enough to try this book, ( plus it was either very cheap or even free ! ) but in all honesty, you may just as well read the summary and leave it at that because spending time reading all 600 and I'd pages won't give you a whole lot more anyway. I am someone who very, very rarely gives up on a book, and this kept me just interested enough to see if it would get better as it went along to keep reading, but the vocabulary is juvenile, repetitive, and cliched, the plot predictable and mostly quite boring for long periods, so NOT a book I'd recommend at all highly.

A must read!!!. I debated for a while about reading this book it is definitely something I don't normally read and doesn't appeal to me at all but wow I was blown away with it took me a few chapters to get into the story normally I am gripped for the first page if any book I think it was me doubting the boon that made me hesitant a fantastic story well wrote and gripping as good as beautiful disaster in my opinion well done Jamie McGuire you have produced yet another fantastic book

Really love the strong male leads who are not shy in voicing their desire for the female lead - author Jamie Mcguire does that will all her male leads. Providence. This was a really great book! Loved Requiem as well! But ibooks, where is the third in the trilogy; Eden??? Release date was May 1, 2012. Please, please add it to Jamie's collection! I would really love to finish!!

Took me away. A good book to take you away from the everyday. I believe the main female character could have been just a little older to fit the story. Descriptions were engaging and good balance of humor and drama.
