An amazing book. Couldn't put this book down. From the first page to the last, it built layer upon layer of mystery, suspense and took me on an incredible journey into the lives of the journalist and his lover and friend. What can I say. A legacy that the author would have been proud of. Such a shame that there will be no more books of this caliber.

Fantastic!. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading this series. I watched The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo in Swedish and wondered how the books would be. From the time I started reading the series, I could hardly bring myself to put it down. The story of Lisbeth Salander is incredibly well written. It has all sorts of intrigue, suspense, mystery, murder, and conspiracy on an epic scale. While being hard to relate to on a personal level, Lisbeth is a fantastic character. She is diverse in her abilities and, despite what others say about her, has solid reasoning behind her decisions she makes throughout the story. Blomkvist is also a wonderfully crafted dynamic character throughout, as are all of the characters in the story. All of them are well thought out and have some role to play in the end. The story does have some points where it drags, but they are few and far between. Most of the time I was insanely curious about what was going to happen next. Even if mystery/suspense books are not your thing, I strongly suggest you give these books try. I believe that you will be mesmerized as quickly as I was.

Phenomenal!. This trilogy is an amazing story with complex characters and a plot that is full of twists and turns. Sometimes the detailed historical descriptions of people and events become slightly overwhelming. I I think this is partly due to the fact that it is referencing people and events in Sweden which are completely unfamiliar. If you can persevere through those sections, it is worth every second. It kept me riveted and I liked the books even better the second time around! Now I am anxious to see it come to life on the big screen!!

OKAY. Book one was good! Book two is okay. Book three is okay. One can read just, THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGOON TATTOO, you do not have to read the other two, like I did. Larsson promotes a liberal stereotypical agenda in his books. Lisabeth is not a very likable character.

Riveting. Absorbing, well narrated and impossible to put down. Sad to lose Mr. Larson so soon after completing the manuscripts. What sort of intriguing tales of deception and subterfuge might we have enjoyed. So entertaining and suspenseful. I found myself rooting for Lisbeth and immensely angry at what she endured. Never have I been so engrossed in a story such as this one. Awesome and unforgettable.

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy. Loved these books and were very are to put down! An intense story with very dense writing and graphic details, so not one to breeze through.. Larsson is masterful at keeping your attention at all times, and also uses his interest in political corruption throughout the story. There are many people, plots, and unusual twists that will keep you guessing and glued to these books. Very highly recommend, and by far the best thriller that I have read in years!

Great read. Salander and Blomkevist are a heck of a team! Salander is just amazing in everishe does. Best part of the books to me was the trial in The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest. I love how the characters are all played together throughout the series and the stories never loose pace.

Great books!. I read a lot, and this had me riveted for 5 days! I literally read all three books in less than 5 days! I read on average a book every two days but this is an extensive and exhaustive intricate series of plots that keeps you guessing where it will go and how it will end. There is no set format where you can ID where the story is going to take you, so I was quite pleased with the writer and impressed with the level of detail and background that went into building such complicated plots. The next in each series didn't have the usual token chapters at the beginning getting you up to speed on the characters and previous plots but delved right into the story and wove new facets of understanding of previously complex characters. It's a must read, and now one of my favorite series and would definitely recommend to others for their must read list this year. Bravo! I am definitely putting this author on my watch list, and reading anything they come out with in the future, this was a work of art!

Great story. These books have a great story line but geez this author wrote with too much detail!!! Some parts just drag on and on and on. Interesting read if you can get through the parts that drag.

Just can't stop. This is a set of books that you just can't stop reading. Twists, turns, intrigue, and the most unlikely heroine kept me riveted for days reading i to the wee hours. Now it's time to get some sleep.

Tat-Fire-Nest. This trilogy is worth reading, I read and watched these books and I recommend. In my opinion, the first book and film is the best with the second being well second and the last seemed to drag out the fact that the end was near. I am looking forward to the US version since i think the Swedish version could be a bit more graphic, so know that this is not for children. It is worth downloading and buying!!!

An absolutely amazing read. These books kept me up for night after night just waiting to see what was going to happen next. A must read for anyone who enjoys constant action and intrigue. Lisbeth Sallandar is definitely a most unusual heroine.
