Truly an OUTSTANDING book. I cant express in words how much I enjoyed this book. I grew up with the Allman Brothers Band. I lived near Macon and had a band and we did almost all of the Allman Brothers tunes. This band has been my number ONE since the late sixties and I still love there music as much if not more today. Thank you Gregory for sharing this book and the times in Julliett .

Wow. Exceptional read! Couldn't put it down. So many great stories and anecdotes. Nice touch to see all the photos again, audio tracks and videos...very slick presentation on a tablet or pc. I've been a huge fan of The Allman Brothers Band since, at 12 years old, I hung from the front of the stage at the Spectrum, (Philly) watching the 5 brothers (before Berry died) play lights out. Great job, Gregory. You are one funny, wise MF that we can love and appreciate. See you in LA when you do your book tour. Rock on, Bro!

My Cross to Bear. When I started to read this book, I was unable to put it down. Not only I'd Gregory Allman a gifted writer but even with all the problems and crap in life he's dealt with, is a humbled, big hearted human being. Loved him before, & now even more. Big bray would be very very proud <3

Great read. Really enjoyed reading this book, any fan of the Brothers should check it out. Really any fan of music in general should read a copy. You get to hear all the party stories of a traveling the and, but more time is devoted to discussing the music and relationships made along the way amongst band members, crew, record execs, friends and of course family. Now that I am done I am hitting my iPod and listening to some Allman Brothers gems from the past.

This is a great book regardless if you are a fan. I have never bought a Allman Brothers lp and read this on a recommendation from my sister. Man, its amazing. The narration is amazing. Its great from the first moment you hear it. I loved it. You will not be disappointed.

My cross to bear Gregg Allman. Very good book. I read it in a few days...I totally related to much of the story, the times. Grew up with the music, got a little more familiar with the men behind the music. Nice. Thanx for puttin it out there for us. Brings back memories, the good, bad and ugly. But memories that are ours. My Cross to Bear. Wow, couldn't stop reading it. I've been a passionate fan since my first exposure to The Fillmore East album. I couldn't figure out the slide guitar or the jazz/blues mixture. What is that? How do they do that? I was playing Neil Young on the acoustic guitar and was blown away but the Fillmore album. I never got to see the Brothers while Duane was alive and I had an opportunity, which kills me. But this book makes you feel like you are there and I've always had a thirst for more information. Your music helped me through difficult times and inspires me to play to this day over 40 years later. The music will live forever! I'm so sorry Duane wasn't here longer, I still cry when ever I read about his accident. Thanks Greg for sharing this great story! I'm happy that you're healthier.

Best ABB memoir yet!. Incredible! A must read for any ABB follower! I've read all the previous books about the band but this is by far the most amazing. Gregg's honesty and insight into the life of The Brothers is unparalleled. May his road of health and great music go on until his forever is no more.

Excellent book!. I bought both the online book (to follow along and see all the pictures) and the audiobook. Was well written and the narrator was spot-on in delivery. I LUV ABB and Gregory’s soulful gravely blues voice can not be matched. That band went through so much it’s truly a miracle they survived. I also bought Galadrielle Allman’s audiobook (written by Duane Allman’s daughter), which filled in the women/ wives / girlfriend view. Although her book was good I found this book MY CROSS TO BEAR, to be superb. Wish I had a signed hard copy.

I bought the media rich version, unbelievable presentation Mr. Gregory Allman. The videos you included knocked me out. Also the inclusion of selected audio brought a richness and intimacy to your story. I only hope that you're well enough to travel to the West for a few gigs. Great read!. Great job Gregory! I found the book to be incredibly honest and candid. I consider this a must read for anyone that is a fan of the Allman Brothers Band.

My Cross to Bear. Life can be just life in black and white. The Allman Brothers not only broke the color barrier but they added color to life. Greg is honest, sometimes denying that he may have been the problem at times. However, I have lived with the same plausible deniability. Great book not only for a Brothers fan but also for anyone who has battled the "demons". Thanks Gregory!

Awesome!. I grew up with ABB as a kid in Georgia. This is a great read that covers the human condition like no other book in a long time. There is joy, pain, success, failure, and ultimately, redemption. I too, have wrestled with the demons that Mr. Allman has. We are both still kicking. ABB forever!!!
