Classic Odd Couple Story. With Hippo and Gorilla you have all the warmth of an odd couple friendship and antics galore. Kind of like a suburban Frog & Toad with a dose of cute slapstick. Really perfect for kids ages 3 to about 7 and lacking anything violent or at all objectionable, except maybe some excessive donut eating.

Funny and sweet. Really great series! I read them with my two kids (nearly two and nearly five) and they both loved the stories. Plus they're funny, which is always a bonus for the adult in the picture. Loved the illustrations and sounds too, especially for Bathroom Beach.

Great series about friendship. This is a great series and a lot of fun for grown-ups and kids to read. The artwork is excellent, and adds a lot to the stories. The music and audio components are great for emerging readers, and also motivate younger kids. My son loves reading these stories and laughing at the adventures of hippo and gorilla.
