Too cliche'. I want to say I enjoyed Man-Kzin Wars XIII, but I found the characterization of the Kzinti too tongue-in-cheek. These stories felt like they were fan written. They lacked the finesse I'm used to seeing in other Larry Niven works. I can't really recommend it, the stories were not fulfilling. Ira Azneer.

Variety. This collection of short stores probably varies more in tone than some of the others. The first story is almost silly. More Hitchhiker’s Guide than military science fiction. Not bad, just different. My favorite is a less one-sided tale involving a Kzin captured at birth and raised by humans. If you’ve read the first twelve books in the series, you won’t be dissappointed.
