Confusing book. This is one of the most confusing stories I have read. For the first 450 pages the author is lazy in using curse words all the time to get across emotions and ideas. She didn’t do it in the last part of the book. There are so many characters and they are all having sex with each other to the point I need a list of who was whose. Only the butler and heroine have positive personalities. The time travel occurs in 4 time periods, 2 of them do not address this story line. At the end of the book nothing is resolved about the “Legend”. In fact I really didn’t understand anything she was trying to tell us about this.

Hated it. It started really really good but then the two hundred characters just poured drinks and made eye gestures for the rest of the book. It really made me mad cause I thought it was going to be the best story ever.

Forgotten time. I was disappointed in this book. It was hard to follow jumping around from one place to the next. I also did not like the ending it left you hanging. None of the plots were resolved or came closed to being resolved. I would not recommend this book.

Hot Read. This is a smart, multi-complex story line. no wonder so many dolts can't follow it!

Leaves you hanging ... In a bad way. I wanted to give this writer a chance, I really did. And bought the next 2 sequels from Smashwords for $2.99. Should have been warned when ibooks doesn't carry the sequels. What a waste of time and money! The premise was interesting enough, but regrettably, its not well written enough to be credible. The characters aren't even that likeable or developed, and the transitions are horrible; I can't tell who the characters are at times, the writer is not successful in trying to be mysterious, she comes across as vague and forgetful, the unidentified characters' identities are not revealed or even developed upon. There is no relevance to the storyline. And you know a book is bad if the writer doesn't answer questions the reader wonders about. The flow from the main plot to the sub-plots are jarringly abrupt at best, and even rereading it, you still wonder who is talking. Not intuitive. The second book gives somewhat closure, but the third book drags it back out and tries to beat it to death. Not only that, it ended in such a bad way, I thought there was a bad download and I was missing half the book. I read a lot of series, but seriously? That just makes readers angry! Who writes like that? I read more than 300 books a year, but never have I read one I felt such regret and fury over paying for, or needing to warn other readers about. For good time travel/period romance authors well worth your money, try Jennifer Connors or Cynthia Wicklund instead. Gena Showalter, Leia Shaw and Kresley Cole are great as well.

All over the place...... This book had potential but sadly it lacked many things. The characters did not draw me in and the storyline was all over the place. I hate that the book ended with no closing to it. A series can have cliffhangers of course but at least has the book come to some kind of conclusion. I would not recommend this book unless your willing to buy the whole series and even then, you will have wasted your time.

Forgotten Time. This has to be the worst edited book I have ever read and I have read 1000's of books! Thank goodness I didn't buy it.

Good read. I had no problem following the book and thought it was well written. I just wish iBooks had the sequel to it.

Forgotten Time. I enjoyed the mystery, the magic, the tragedy and the love abounding within this book. There certainly were an abundance of characters to keep one engaged.

Forgotten Time. A very nice book and interesting but the way it was arranged to jump from one character scene to another or one time to another or one house to another without much clear indication made it really confusing at first.

NOT entire book--continuation in another. Wish I'd known this before I downloaded & read it. Nothing was resolved. Jumped around too much. I don't mind buying books but won't & wouldn't download another from this author. If I like a series, I buy others if each is a separate story, but won't be "bullied" to find out the ending.

Forgotten time. I loved it! Where is the sequel??

Forgotten Time… needs re-edit. Story jumped about without fluidity from character to character and time. Seemed written in rush and only the author understood the context of the flow. Shame.

Forgotten time. A fantastic book but finished with no real end to events. Feels incomplete.

Forgotten Time. What a disappointment. The book had no cohesion but jumped all over the place with no rhyme or reason and then to compound all it's failings it ends with "to be continued". Then follows a list of titles, follow on books or mad ravings not sure!

Probably should skip this one. This story is incredibly hard to follow. I finished it, not sure why, hoping to make sense of it. Not my cup of tea sorry.

Forgotten time. Loved the story but a little hard to follow but want to know how it Ends

Annoying. Poor formatting. Story line could be ok, but it finishes half way through and says "to be continued.." It's like half a book...

Forgotten Story. Terrible, so hard to follow, characters not properly introduced. Really hard to follow.

Disjointed. This book has a great premise, interesting plot twist, etc. Why I gave it two stars was because it was so disjointed. One minute we are with the main character and the next paragraph we are with another. There was no transition, nothing. It made it confusing and frustrating for me as the reader and drew me away from the plot. I'm not likely to buy the next books b/c it was too frustrating and it lost my interest unfortunately. Maybe a printed version of the book (if it exists) would have more obvious breaks but this version did not.

Concept good - writing not so good. Although the novel's concept was interesting, the execution was sloppy and confusing. It was difficult to empathize with the main characters and their plights, as the story jumped all over the place and the character development was superficial.
