What a wonderful story. The most well written book I’ve read in some time.

A charmer.. A charming and engrossing read!

Poor writing. I couldn’t even finish this book. The writing is poor and appears to not have run through editing. Do not recommend and I’m sorry I wasted money on it.

Whimsical and magical. A lovely adventure

Great story… but. I found this book to be great. It literally got me back into reading after so many years. However, I found all of Opaline’s chapters to be painfully dry, dull, and often times outright boring. I never realized a storybook character could be so stale. I definitely dreaded reading her chapters. Other than that it was wonderful!

Entertaining Tale. An enjoyable read. I found myself smiling often throughout.

Started well, but got progressively boring. Ham-fisted tales of abuse, very stereotypical development of romance (when two people constantly misunderstand each other and don't bother to clarify)... DNF after about 2/3 of the book.

Love this story. Great story, great characters, some history, books, all the things I love. I don’t know why but the ending gave me chills. Magical, simply magical.

Unique and clever. The characters are unforgettable with deep story lines. Very imaginative in a one of kind connectivity. Enjoyed it immensely!

The Magic of Reading. Switching back and forth between time periods is always a challenge for me. A bit confusing, but interesting, mystical events, generational relationships, and mystery.

Books, mysteries, history. Oh I absolutely adored this! I had no idea what was going to happen and was drawn along by the characters who were beautifully described. Fabulous!

Started strong and set up mystical expectations. But ultimately felt that it dragged on for too long halfway through, losing its mystique

Why did I buy this and only get 32 pages ?. Impossible to get the rest of the book, not happy and can’t find anyway to communicate or relay the fault. So I don’t know what to do, can’t finish the story very poor.

Absolutely magical!. I could not put this down once I started! It was not what I expected at all. Well written and heartwarming, the threads of this book wove an enchanting story with characters you of whom you could feel their emotions every step of the way. Loved it!

I feel like I just got off a rollercoaster. I sometimes find it difficult to pick up a book but this one I had trouble putting down. It was to easy to read and the charters were easy to love. I enjoyed playing detective along with Henry and Martha. And learning to start tall with Opaline. I would encourage you to listen to their stories and learn from their lives from the comfort of your home.

Loved it. Just the right balance of magic and reality. So intriguing that I had a hard time to put it down. Many thanks to the author for this read.
