Enjoyable read. I didn’t realize at first this book was the follow up to Better To See You, but I quickly caught on. While you can read this as a stand-alone, because the basic plot line of the first story in the series is explained in Sure of One, I’d still recommend going back and enjoying it anyway. I must say, Jack did not endear himself to this reader. In fact, if I was Ava, I would have walked away and not looked back. Yes, many readers will love the broody billionaire with his kinks and dirty mouth. But I felt Ava deserved better, as did daughter Sophie, who Ava was brought on board to help with the trauma she suffered. I loved their relationship and the realistic way they bonded. There’s some great intrigue in this part of the series, with more to come if I’m reading the signs correctly. So no spoilers! I look forward to the next book and more of the Arrrow Tactical characters…and the young woman who’s grown up story is soon to come.

Great read!. This is a very well written book, one with connections to other books by Isabel Jolie. The books has cameos from other books, but absolutely can be read as a stand-alone story. I wasn’t distracted by grammar or spelling mistakes as with a lot of other authors. The story is engaging and kept me guessing to the end. I always enjoy the length of these books, I feel like I get a lot of story. I’m already looking forward to the next one in the series! Note: I received and reviewed and ARC copy
