Liked it. MMC/FMC- Arlo, a student healer wizard, and Jade, a student Earth Elemental witch. POV- 1st person Genre- Paranormal Romance Sub Genre- Witches Length- short novel/novella Heat- they do the things and name the parts without using the P or C words. Series? Y Safety- No Cheating, No Cliffhanger, but there’s ex drama and the threat of S. A. HEA/HFN- Y, although the story arc continues in the next book Triggers- language, violence, blood, injury (with descriptions), Fifty Shades reference Tropes- New Adult, College Romance, Secret Crush What I liked- the world building, the lack of boasting, the friendships, the use of the words smexy and manky. What I didn’t- some of Jade’s theory was skipped over when she was explaining it to her friends.and the book didn’t say what the directive from the headmistress was until over 3/4 into the book, or if it did, it was way too subtle. Verdict- I liked it. I think I’ll go back and read the earlier books in the series while I’m waiting for Book Five. Loved this story!. This story is part ongoing mystery — what is happening to the magic, part coming of age, and part love story. I have not read the previous books and that did not get in the way of my enjoyment of this book. The world was well drawn and welcoming, even for someone who hasn’t read the rest of the series. I loved the gentle love story. I loved reading about a woman who comes to accept herself as she is and finds power in that. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Hooked on these witches!!. I may have missed a story or two but this series is killing it!! Loving this gang of misfits!! The Gorri and Kincade’s imagination is out of this world!!!

Gina Kincade has done it again…fun, thrilling, spiciness, and intrigue wrapped into another beautiful adventure in one of my favorite academies “Westwood Academy”!! It seems like I waited forever for this next installment and am also privileged I was able to read it early as an ARC reader. Now I try to patiently wait for the next two books in this Amazing series. This was very much fast paced which is slightly different to the previous books in the series…DO NOT MISS THIS!!!!!!

Love these witches. I love this series it keeps getting more and more intriguing. This is Jade and Arlo’s story. She’s an earth witch who seems to always get in accidents and Arlo is the healer fixing her up. And we have the return of Maba, a blood witch. While the girls continue to figure why magic is disappearing there are still those who want them to fail. Love this series, fast , steamy read and it keeps you wanting more.
