Read it again, still disappointing. Update to original review: After letting time pass and reading so many positive reviews I decided to read Redemption again. Nope. Still not good. Not sure where those positive reviews are coming from. I feel like I read a different book. Skip this one. Original review: I’ll try not to give spoilers here! I’m not quite sure what to think of this book. I was so looking forward to reading Recemption. I walked away disappointed and scratching my head at the difference in tone and character from the prior books. I am a true Meghan March Fan and I thoroughly enjoyed the prior three books featuring Lachlan and Keira. But this one…not so much. First, there is zero passion between the leads. This is very different from the prior three books where their fiery passion and heat was palpable, and an integral part of their personal journeys. Redemption gives us love and devotion, but no passion, and zero heat. The life force that was Keira in the prior books is not evident here. She has been extinguished. Lachlan is almost a different person. I think that this change was truly the author’s intent, but it just does not work for me. The story itself drags on and much of the inner dialog of the key character, Lachlan Mount, is repetitious, which dilutes its power and meaning. Lastly I agree with another reviewer who noted that the religious tone was a bit too zealous, and the plot line of satanic worship seemed almost thrown in to fit that part of the narrative. It is clear the author has been on a personal journey. I applaud her for that. She has obvious love for these characters, and for the message she seeks to deliver. I just wish the Lachlan and Keira we came to know in the first three books was more evident in Redemption.

Loved it!. I have read every book about Lachlan Mount & Keira. Hate that it’s over but what a great ending. Hopefully Luca and Keira will make a debut soon.

Great storyline. Loved it! Clever story line. As with all Meghan’s books I could not put it down! Now I’m bummed cause I have nothing to read.

Be prepared to stay up all night reading this book. Wow. Can we say explosive? Both literally and figuratively. So much to say about this book and I have no clue where to begin. Surprises come in all forms. And so does the boogeyman. This is a book that is very hard to put down. You just want to know what happens next. But the thing I want to know most is what happens now? Hopefully we will get another book that continues the Mount saga. Be prepared to be shocked. And be prepared to stay awake all night, needing to know what happens next.

Not worth it. Very odd book. There was a lot of religious references and random conspiracy talking points thrown in. I would not consider this a romance, and it did not stay true to the characters from the first 2 books. The “feds” being “baby sacrificing satan worshipers” might be the dumbest plot line I’ve read.

Absolutely NOT worth the wait!. I am so very disappointed in this book. This is NOT the Lachlan Mount we all know and love. The book was repetitive and boring and could have been half the length. Keira May as well have not been in the book at all. I was so excited to have this book drop and I can’t believe how much I wish it hadn’t.

Not sure. I have read every book series to date and loved everyone of them until now. This is not the Meghan March style I have come to know and love. I hope the next book returns to the original style.

Meh. I love me a good Mount book and was super excited that another came out. Yes, the twist was good and lends to a setup for more Mount but I have to say this book was lacking. The idea and premise behind the book should have been a five star rating but this book couldn’t grab me by the balls like all her other works. It seemed to be a hap hazard combining of ideas that just couldn’t be put down with the grit as previous works. I finished with a hope that Mounts next book will be what the Ruthless King is known for.

Not worth the time. This may be the worst book I’ve ever read. Terrible plot and ridiculous notion that the Joint Chief of Staff drinks the blood of children plays into partisan politics and insane Q theories.

Redemption. Redemption, oh my lawd… What a tear jerker that was.. Absolutely LOVED this book. Another great successful book Meg.. ❤️

Mount is back!!!. The King is back!!! I absolutely fell in love with Mount and Keira and I’m SO glad to be back in their world! In true Meghan style, we have all the feels!! I loved the twists and turns and surprises in Redemption! Not only do we go back into their world, we meet new characters! Redemption is everything I love and didn’t know I needed!!

What a read!. First & foremost, welcome back Meghan March! 😍 And what a return it was. Not only for you, but for Lachlan Mount & Kiera. Epic in so many ways! I was on the edge, half with worry, half with anticipation. And countless times with leaking eyes. This was EVERYTHING. And if you love Mount (like I truly do), you will love this! And devour it. Like I did. Thank you Meghan. It was perfection ❤️

Family. Lots of changes for the Mount family. So many feelings and emotions.

Did not disappoint. I Wasn’t sure how you would redeem this character but you pulled it off. Kudos! I can’t wait for the next one.

I can’t wait for the next one! I’ve read all of your books and I loved Mount and Kiera so much, they deserved this happiness to their story.

Disappointing. I have loved all Meghan March’s books but this one completely missed the mark for me. No real story line plus the shocking number of times the words “miracle” and God were mentioned in every paragraph was quite boring. Hoping the next one gets better.

Mount forever my # 1 book husband ❤️. I have to be completely honest it wasn’t what I was expecting but everything I hope for. I love Mount so much and knowing that he got a second chance in life was epic. It was well written but it was also vey positive at the same time. They kept reminding themselves to be present and grateful for the moments they were having. I hope Marcus has his own spicy book. Definitely I bit emotional to put V to rest. #Mount&Keira.

Amazing!!. What an Amazing story!! I went into this book with no idea what to expect…I was blown away. Lachlan and Keira are struggling to deal with the aftermath of their daughter’s kidnapping. Something so unexpected happens that it can only be described as a miracle. Pick up this book and take an emotional journey with Keira,Lachlan and Aurora. No one could ever imagine what the future had in store for Lachlan. What sweet Redemption it was.

Redemption. Megan March has done it again OMG I don’t even have words. keep the Kleenex next to you you’re going to need it. I think I cried through about 90% of the book which is very unlike me. Talk about an emotional roller coaster and so many unexpected twist, turns and revelations. I didn’t think I could love Mount anymore than I already did! Definitely 5+ stars

WOW!. Lachlan’s growth and struggle to finally accept his inner self worth and his explosive love for his family has far reaching consequences .An epic ending for a character I did not truly like in the first book but have so changed my mind.

Mount is dead. This book is a fitting conclusion to the Mount series and a good introduction for a new series involving one of our favourite characters. Only Lachlan Mount could dispense fitting justice and secure his and his family’s safety. You need to have read the series before this book to be able to really understand it. Highly recommend.

It does not belong in the Mount Series. Meghan has completely changed her writing style with this book. It was so repetitive and boring that I put it down numerous times in frustration. Don’t even know if I can finish it. Sad, I was really looking forward to something new from her.

I was disappointed. I understand the point was the wrap up their story and give them peace…. But I was expecting passion and fire, there wasn’t any.

Redemption. Wow!!!! Loved the next chapter for the boogeyman… so excited to see where this goes…. Thanks Meghan March and Jacob for an amazing story! Mount deserves all he gets!
