Loved it!. I bought the book for my daughter at Walmart and decided to read it when I finished a book I had been reading! I love it and so does my daughter. The e book is a better price and I enjoyed the prequel No place like Oz but I wish it would have been longer like this book is. We can't wait for the next book in the series!

Oz? Dorothy? Amy?. I read this new exciting page turning twist on the story of Dorothy and Oz in two days. I just couldn't put it down! The new version of Oz and all the characters pulled me in in a way that I haven't found in a long time. It was well written and something I will defiantly read again and suggest to friends. This book was amazing!

Oz is Twisted. Not just a reimagining like McGuire where the wicked we know is good but the good we know is really wicked. Fantastic, fresh perspective...but the second half of the book slows down tremendously in comparison to the first half. The last 30 pages are totally worth making it through. Worth a re-read. :)

First of all, I never thought that Dorothy and her gang could be soo heartless ( except The Tin Woodsman around Dorothy... Well…?. I was really excited about this book when I started it. I love the Wizard of Oz and have a special place in my heart for the wicked witch. However, I was sorely disappointed when the book ended. And it did just that; ended. All the build-up, all the time invested for it to come to an abrupt, clearly set up for the sequel, ending. That’s more disappointing than the entire book being bad in my opinion.

Amazing. Such a twisted great book I love the series I even have a autographed hardcover I hope someone makes this into a movie or a tv show I can see a lot of potential in it ❤🙌🏼❤🙌🏼

A-MAZING!. This book with it's compelling plot keeps you intrigued throughout the whole story! Great for teens and touches finding who you are, having to deal with people you don't want to, and even a little romance. Quite relatable when you push aside the fairy tale aspect :)

Dorothy Must Die. What a disappointment! I really was enjoying this book until I got to the end and there wasn't one. Just a pause in the story to lead you on to the next book in the series. May be good marketing but leaves me cold. No more books from this author for me!

Are you a good witch or a bad witch?. Not sure...but I know that this is an excellent read. An excellent and somewhat dark take of the lovable original. Definitely a recommended read and I can't wait for more.

Wicked fun. I've always been a fan of Oz, the magical world full of adventure and new friends and the slightly scary, somewhat disturbing elements in between, as well. That's what makes this series so delightful. Dorothy Must Die is a perfect, quick-reading, action-packed story, rich in the classic characters and plots of Baum. It has a twisted edge that remains true to the literature (rather than the Hollywood adaptations) and speaks to the modern day and its literary trends as well. It's probably most appealing to a YA audience but would be a good choice for anyone who has Ana appreciation for Oz and a taste for fantasy and fairytales.

Compelling and Interesting. This book is captivating on so many levels. The plot is incredible. The story is well thought out and keeps you interested and wanting more by the second!

3.5 STARS. It was slow at the first half of the book. This book is not my type of read but i read anyway. But the ending was just boom!

Awesome. Without taking anything away from the original series this book makes the story all the more compelling. Easy read I am reading the entire series, the prequels were fantastic too, can't wait to finish the series.

Engaging. This is the first book that I read in a long time and it kept my interest. It was engaging and the characters were pretty thought out. Overall this book is a good read and it left me wanting more.

IT WAS OK. Ok so like Thai book had a good plot, but the characters sucked. I mean the author did an awesome job describing but a found some serious cuss words, on like the first page? And many kids and older kids read this book and teen pregnancy should NOT be encouraged. I don’t recommend unless ur very mature.

Disturbing... Sadly to say, four chapters in and I ran across some serious foul language. And this book is under young adults?

Great start to an awesome story. This book is absolutely wicked!!

4 stars -WARNING, SPOILERS-. This is an incredible book, it's thrilling and adventurous. However, in some chapters I found myself skipping it due to its boring content. Near the end, it's a bit a annoying how Amy doesn't just kill Dorothy. But I'm not complaining, overall it's a book worth reading.

Absolutely Amazing. I adored this book- I bought every single book in the series and loved every second when I was reading it. I really recommend this to anyone no matter what age because it’s so well written and interesting. It’s just like a continuation of the Wizard of Oz which is amazing and not like a made up rewrite. I encourage everyone to at least read half of this book and I guarantee that it will have you hooked

It's alright. The book was a little boring because it took forever to get to the main point of the book. But over all the book was really detailed and creative 😊😜😎😵
