I don't know. Madly comes off as this strong sexy woman and then one night with Gab and she's all weak and pathetic. I thought I had found a book that portrayed a strong female lead, but it slowly eased into the usual norm.

Amazing!. I was extremely touched by this story. The characters were real and vivid making this book such a great read. I found myself rooting for each character to succeed and I was not disappointed. Also, the message in this story is heartfelt and the love shared between the two is beautiful. I definitely recommend this book.

Wonderful. Truly wonderful romance story. Heartbreaking too. So much Gabe and Madison had to get through to finally be together. Make sure you have a box of tissues nearby. Also love that pax and mila were in it as well. Lovely.

Hmmm..... I am still going to give 5 ⭐ for this book. The only negative thing I did not like was the treatment therapy Gabe received. It seemed so rushed and I don't know much about treatment for PTSD but one week didn't seem like enough to warrant a HEA. I do appreciate that both Madison and Gabe realize that their relationship will be a work in progress and will require support to continue. I also liked the epilogue and now have a complete understanding of what Gabe did for Brand. So with that one negative like I said it was not enough to change my view on the book. I really did like it a lot and as much as I would like to read Jacey's story I would rather read Brands.

Loved it!. Couldn't put it down. Much like the first book, this one had it all: true emotion, chemistry, grittiness. Happy to be the first one to give it five stars. Too bad I have to wait till December for the third book.
