Love this series!!!!. The books are so well written and creative is an understatement! The stories are nothing but magic! I will admit my heart breaks for them and children!!!! I would be devastated to see their love destroyed and to never have children!!!

Good book.. Like everyone else, I found myself skipping through most of the sex scenes and the constant reassurance Layla needed from Quinn. Having said that, the war scene was amazing and I couldn't stop reading. I flew through the pages and didn't even realize it. Over all, a good book. I hope by the next book she finally finds some confidence and security in herself and her relationship.

Totally <3 HEART this book and series. I fell hook line and sinker in this series. The characters had me from hello so to speak, writer helps you gain an emotional attachment to every character and it's got something for everyone- action, magic, heartbreak, heartache, Romance and hot sex! It's the total package!!!!!

Too much sex. This was such a big change from the beginning of the series that I felt blind-sided. I felt the actual story was padded with the over repeated love talk and extremely detailed sex to the detriment of the attachment I had previously felt for the story and it's characters. I didn't care for this book despite loving the others.

How do you do it?. You are an amazing writer. You have the ability to draw the reader in and never let them go. The adventure you bring them through allows them to feel the emotions of the incredible characters, feel their successes and their sorrows. Thank you for your incredible writing and I'll drink a cup of coffee to you!

Retribution. Good story but way too long and wordy. Could've been told well in half the length of this book. Still, towards the end I couldn't put it down. When it finally got moving it was very good!

Retribution. To much hearts and flowers conversations in this book. I literally skipped pages and pages out of boredom. A few dialogues here and there are nice but you dedicate far too many pages to the same types of discussions. Also the Heroine is to much of a crybaby in this book. Good storyline, but could have been enhanced with more story and action and less drama that didn't lead anywhere but the bedroom. Too much sex not enough story. I love the story, but come up with more suspense, more mystery, more imaginative magic. Less hearts and flowers, sex, crying, and personally drama that makes readers want to skip forward.

Very Good. This book was great, the first three books in the series are fast paced and interesting, to say the least. As the books go one the female lead character winds up in low self esteem and tearful sad moments to the point of ridiculousness, but given that, the books are still good. I skipped over the majority of sappy "you are my forever love" scenes in the 4th book, as they didn't add much to the story, but still I recommend the series. I have gotten to the point of really disliking the main female character's weakness and stupidity, yet still I read. If anything I say this says a lot for the series being awesome. I suggest you read this series, it is overall a very good read :)

Magical. This book, #4 in the series is just as much fun as the first three, and better. I dont want to spoil anything, so be sure to start with the first one, because you will not be able to stop! I suggest you get the first three as a set, and save some moola. 😃 The mystic series is a flowing magical journey with rich loveable characters and a interesting storyline. It may take the author awhile to get there, but the journey is fun. I laughed and I cried, and I cant wait for the next book.

Superb. I love them all!! What a great and wonderful story and to find out another is on its way, well just made my heart soar to know Layla and Quin's story isn't over...

Ending...but not. I can say that this series makes me cry as well as laugh. Sometimes it seems drawn out but I prefer that to books that lack details. More sex and adult concepts in this book than the first three. I'm looking forward to the series continuing which surprises me. I was ready for the end.

Powerful intriguing witch read. I have read the series so far in three days. Passionate love story, and look forward to more soon. My tips to the writer, less love scenes. More mystic storyline, with Layla super feeling power. I so would have have like to see her share that pain back to her family tormentor . Left me feeling like the quickest way to end him and more on there.... After four books, Layla constant shyness and running away seems childish. When does she get to grow stronger emotionally.

Great books. Okay, I am loving these books. The plots and magic are fantastic. One thing though. We get it. Their love surpasses anything that has ever come before, or will come after. They have mind blowing sex. All. The. Time. We get it. I'm starting to feel like the sex scenes are being used to lengthen the books. It gets tiresome to read 6 pages of sex, three pages of plot, 6 pages of sex. I don't know if the author has bought into the whole "Sex Sells" crap like Jean M. Auel did in her books, but seriously. A little is fine, but this much is annoying and unnecessary. But I really do love the books. Author has a way with words and descriptions that reach into me and grip me. I hope there are more books coming, and that the next is not the last in the series.

OMG. His book is a must read and is amazing, I have a high standards for books I read and this writing surpassed my standards!

Best book ever. This book is a five out of five I couldn't put it down. Every scene was carefully placed in the perfect spot and beautiful. From the very first page to the last had me intrigued. Layla's story is wonderful and I can't wait to read the last two books

HEART POUNDING AND MIND BLOWING. Retribution is in a word perfect! I absolutely loved it. This is my favorite book in the series so far! The book is fast paced and touching since we get to see the continuing love story of Quin and Layla and their interaction with their family (coven) and friends. Retribution takes us on a wonderful emotional roller coaster of sweet and steamy romance, anxiety, tears, sadness, happy sighs, laughs and an epic battle with pure evil. The ending blew my mind and I can't wait for more! If you haven't read the series yet, you are missing a wonderful ride.

Mystic Series. I've read all 4 books within a week. I've found my new "addiction". I'm in love with Quin & Layla. In each book I live and feel each emotion. Burgess and created a beautiful series; captivating you and taking you into a world of it own!
