Seriously. What the heck happened? I fell in love with Wallbanger. It was one of my favorite books. Rusty nailed was so boring. It just went on and on about Caroline's job for pages and pages. Caroline was taking simon for granted and I didn't like where this story was going. They had so much passion in the first book how can she lose sight on the wonderful man she had. I waited so long for this book and got jipped. I usually can read a book in 2 days, this one took me 2 weeks. That's how crappy it was.

Great love story. I love Ms. Clayton's writing style. Wallbanger and Rusty Nailed are two of my very favorite stories. I was so sad to say goodbye to Simon!

Awesome. Hilariously awesome; I couldn't put this book down wallbanger and Caroline absolutely love them and their conventional but yet unconventional relationship

Rusty Nailed. Great sequel to Wallbanger. I love Alice Clayton's humor and really enjoyed the continued story. The supporting characters Sophia and Mimi are awesome. I would recommend reading Wallbanger first. Thank you Alice Clayton. I love your work. Keep up the great job.

Another winner by Alice Clayton. Not as good as Wallbanger but still an entertaining read that's funny, well written and full of memorable characters, including Clive the cat. Recommend the Redhead series as well. Alice Clayton is on my pre-buy list. Enjoy!

Ugh... What happened?!?. I was looking forward to this book for a while now, Wallbanger was Awesome! But this one really disappointed me... I didn't really enjoy it as much as I'd hoped. The storyline was kind of bland and there should have been more Clive and less Neil and Sophia... More relationship growth and less job stress. I am kind of disappointed, it's obvious there won't be another book and this is what we have.. BOO

Ok. I fell in love with the first book, "Wallbanger", expecting that the second book was going to be better. I found myself getting stressed and mad at Caroline for always being such a debbydowner. The book is not what I had expected it to be, but I guess it was ok...

Simply amazing. I really enjoyed this book. After reading "Wallbanger," I couldn't get enough of Caroline and Simon's relationship. Then I heard Alice wrote "Rusty Nailed" I flipped out just what I needed. I recommend you read this amazing book, and I hope you love it as much as I did. If you liked "Wallbanger" then you will love "Rusty Nailed."

Review: Cocktail #3: Rusty Nailed. Rusty Nailed by Alice Clayton is the second book in her Cocktail Series. This is the continuing story of Caroline and Simon. To me it was like a behind the scenes all access to pass to what happens AFTER the happily ever after in romances, in this case, after Wallbanger. Things are still going strong between these two lovers. Caroline's boss Jillian is leaving her in charge while on her honeymoon and she is already anticipating being busy but throw in house-sitting in Sausalito and these two are busy at playing house. We slowly learn more about Simon's past and we get to see these two move from new to comfortable in their relationship and we also get a whole lot more of Clive, bless his little cat soul.

Missing text. Funny as always....but there's text missing. For example, chapter 7 is missing the ending. Please fix. :) Thanks.

Disappointing. Especially after book 1, it is really disappointing! It is still fun to read but actually if you do not read, you lost nothing. Most importantly, it does not have an ending, it suddenly finished, i did not understand that the book really finished like that..

Too expensive. I love the first one but this is too much. £3.99 or £2.99 maybe, but £5.99 is crazy.

Expensive. I love alice clayton and the first book wallbanger.... But really does it need to be £6.99? Been waiting for ages for book 2 and your going to charge this amount for it?! Really put me off.

Far too expensive. Like the other reviewers, I had been waiting for ages for this book only to be continually put off by the high price. After finally purchasing the book, I have to say I was disappointed. Most definitely not worth £5.99!

Wanting more.... After reading wallbanger I needed more of The sexy Simon and Caroline... Well we got it in Rusty Nailed! Although l loved both books... I again need more!! A sexy, romantic, humerous light read. I was hoping to get that epilogue that squares everything off nicely, but I'm not saying what that epilogue left me with... I just need more!!

4.5 Stars. My Person's Books After reading Wallbanger we couldn’t wait to dive into Rusty Nailed! Alice Clayton is a great surprise her books are refreshing and a perfect mixture. This book did not disappoint, like Wallbanger it has sassiness, flirty banter, wit and was laugh out loud funny. Simon and Caroline are a we, they’re boyfriend and girlfriend while still living in their own apartments. There relationship is going from strength to strength. There ‘we’ works for them, Simon is off jet setting again while Caroline is still working at Jillian’s design firm. Distance makes the heart grow fonder and true to it’s words when Simon walks back through those doors fireworks are ignited! “I’m Simon’s girlfriend. He was once the Harem Master, and now I’m his girlfriend.” Simon and Caroline have amazing chemistry, the have the perfect mix of sexy, sassy banter and are hot between the sheets as well as other places lol. They are content in their relationship and find that it works perfectly for them. It may not be for everyone but it works solid for both of them. When Caroline takes on a bigger role in the design firm and Simon starts to cancel jobs the dynamics of their relationship that they had grown and adapted to have now changed, life is no longer easy and their relationship is not the same. How will Simon cope with being more of a homebody? How will Caroline cope with this as well as taking on a bigger role at the design firm? Will this change there relationship? “Hell, yes. I love you; that’s not going to change. I want this, I want you, and I think...Oh hell, here comes the Dawson’s Creek.” We loved that we not only continued with Caroline’s relationship but we also followed Jillian and Benjamin, Mimi and Ryan and Sophie and Neil, oh and one can not forget Clive. While we love Simon and Caroline’s story we have also loved getting to know more and follow the side characters stories as well. Our thoughts Kristy - What a great addition to the series, I have to say I had so many swoon worthy moments with Simon he is just so perfect. Him and that tool belt with that sexy banter, I need to fan down lol. Caroline wasn’t her usual happy go lucky self in this book and annoyed me just a smidge when she would get cross with Simon over certain things, but hey that’s life right? This book did not disappoint, I am loving this series so far and can’t wait to dive into Screwdrivered. Kayla - This book was amazing, once again I'm kicking myself for not starting sooner. Rusty Nailed had such a heavier tone to it then Wallbanger, and I think it needed it. The relationship between Simon and Caroline was evolving and things needed to change. I loved that we finally got to delve into Simon's past and I felt like he opened up more. Still riddled with plenty of laughs I found myself teary in a few places. Alice has fast become one of my favorite new authors.

Really Good!. Loved it ... Wallbanger was a huge hit for me and I was excited to read the next chapter! You won't be disappointed! Still hilarious, great internal dialogue with a storyline that was interesting and easy to follow! Another great book by AC!

Fun sexy read. Loved catching up with Caroline and Simon ....very much enjoyed everything but the epilogue... I found having the epilogue told from the cats point of view gag worthy ... I'd just skip it and pretend the book ends without an epilogue.
