Good story. I would have given it five stars except for so many grammatical errors which any decent proofreader should’ve found.

Good, but.... Story was good, yet predictable. Author could have benefitted from proofreading. Obvious grammatical errors and too many words used in error (ex. flea vs flee)

Close to Home. Overall, I enjoyed this book and liked the characters very much. My only criticism is the ending where there seemed to be a rush to wrap everything up, leaving the reader with one major flaw. The flaw is the unrealistic concept of Dwayne not being put in jail in exchange for giving up all parental rights to the twins. Being a self-indulgent wacko, he will most certainly continue making Emma’s life scary and miserable, even with Clint by her side to protect her.

Great start to the Westen series. This is my first book by Suzanne Ferrell, but it won’t be my last. I really enjoyed reading Emma’s and Clint’s story. I love small town stories and this one included everything a small town needs, good friends, good family, and people looking out for each other. I loved how the town came together, when Emma needed them the most. Her return to Westen may not have been what she wanted, but it was exactly what she needed. You will fall in love with her twin sons, Brian and Benjamin. It was smart thinking on their parts, in how they got Emma and Clint to meet, lol. Little ears don’t miss much.

Excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Full of great characters and an interesting storyline. It has it all.....drama, romance and humour. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good read.
