Enjoyable, even if not fully believable. I really enjoyed reading this book, in spite of the fact that a reporter/blogger somehow knows more about spy craft, detection systems, infrared scanners, Zodiac boats, and facial recognition systems than James Bond would.

Seven grams of lead. Just ok - too many characters, lack of depth, barely believable

Good, but too many characters. It was confusing trying to keep up with all the characters. But the action was good, and I like the way the main character draws from research for different stories to get him out of trouble.

Very enjoyable read. 7 Grams was quite enjoyable, and well put together. For me, Thomson did a great job of employing enough plausibility into the story to leave you thinking that it may not be too far from fictional. A handful of scenes were completely impossible, but that's part of what makes a good story as well. Isn't the impossible what makes James Bond films so great? All in all, a very enjoyable read that kept me hanging on, wondering what would happen next!
