Another Great Read!. Hudson and Lia's story was very sweet. I loved the chemistry between the two. Their story made me laugh and cry. It was very touching.

Family, by love or by blood, is the most important. Hudson & Lia’s story. Passionate, fun loving pranks, and honest emotions sum up this amazing story. Antique arms dealer and martial arts/MMA fighter meets her match in a wounded special ops veteran. Loved the emotional depth of the characters and their passionate commitment to living life to the fullest. As with all Violet Duke books, the stories take on a life of their own. I want to visit this quirky town and meet all of these great people. So happy there are more books to read!

The story of Hudson and Lia will not disappoint. When I first starting reading this book I was not sure how I was going to feel about it. Every book By Violet Duke I have read to date I have just feel in love with the characters and their stories. For a minute, I was not sure it would happen again. About a chapter into it I knew I was hooked. Hudson and Lia have such a real love that anyone will get hooked. The one thing I loved most about this story besides the chemistry between Hudson and Lia, was the fact that there are so many other past characters in this story. Every book connects and you get a piece of characters lives that you feel in love with before. I think this book is a must read and relates to a lot of people.

A Great Book. I was given this ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. This is book 3 in the Cactus Creek Series. Hudson Reeves is a movie industry fight scene and weapons specialist after he has to retire from the military due combat injuries. Liana Lin is an antique arms specialist and very skilled in the martial arts. She helps run her Foster Family's Business. She is also a widow of a MIA soldier. Hudson is Luke's (from book 1) good friend and Dani's (also from book 1) bouncer in her Brewpub, Ocotillos. Hudson and Liana first get 'see' each other at Dani and Luke's wedding and again at a Gun Show. Love the chance meetings before they actually meet. They have so much in common especially with the martial arts training. Love their sparing matches. For such a little thing she sure is fiesty! They help each other out with their own issues. It's very special. Liana's foster brother's are absolutely hilarious and take the 'Big Brother watching over little sister' to a whole new level. I actually read this book straight through. I couldn't put it down.

Love. Lia had no idea she was going to meet and fall in love when she went to a gun show. Hudson could not keep his eyes off of her. Together they learn to love and trust after Hudson was injured over seas. And Lia had lost her husband while he was on a mission. While living in a small town she had friends and family helping them both over come there past.

LT&T did not disappoint. LT&T did not disappoint. Both Lia and Hudson had some major problems to overcome but I was pulling for them all the way. The town of Cactus Creek is just the type of town I'd like to live in. I can't wait for the next installment.

Not your typical romance.. Loved reading this book so much I couldn't put it down. The best part was I couldn't predict the whole plot before the end of chapter 2 like a lot of romances out there.

Delightful, Witty, and Romantic. I cannot begin to express how much I adored reading this book!! Two impeccably strong people who fight, in more ways than one, to keep their hearts guarded learn what it means to let go and help each other heal. An amazing love story about learning to live and love! Everyone has their demons and for Hudson, his are always waiting in the wings ready to take him down to keep him from healing from his past. To keep those around him at arms length. After he meets Lia, the one woman he can’t stay away from..even though he knows he’s undeserving of her, perhaps he’ll finally see that his deep-set wounds from war can truly be healed. And Lia, the other side to this incredible couple, has struggles and demons all her own that she has worked hard to turn into the life she lives for now. Upon meeting Hudson she knows she won’t be able to hold off for long before he breaks through her defenses. So the craziest “friends-with-benefits” proposal is made...with a tacked on expiration date...and only time will tell if they’ll be able to walk away when it expires. Lia and Hudson were more than worth the wait in Violet Duke’s third installment in the Cactus Creek series, 'Love, Tussles, and Takedowns'! With impressive fighting skills, antique guns galore, and quick-witted verbal sparring, swoon-worthy Hudson and independently, strong Lia will draw you in and captivate you. This delightful, witty, and romantic story will definitely give you your fill while waiting for more! I’m so excited for Xoey and Isaac’s story coming soon! I’m ready to be swept off my feet with more Cactus Creek love. ^_^

You never disappoint! Love love love it!!!. I love this series! I love how you combine everyone! I can't wait for the rest of them to come out! Even the spencer boys and Drew and skylar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing. I'm a sucker for a sexy man in uniform, but add in sweet, caring and feisty and I'm head over heels.  I fell in love with Hudson instantly.  The way he treats Lia and how he expects nothing more than her friendship is amazing.  Lia is a virgin widow who was orphaned  and has an amazing foster family.  She is a weapons expert and loves to tackle her stress by working up a sweat.   I absolutely loved this book and can't wait for the next in the series.  Violet Duke has done it again!

Hudson and Lia, a must read!. Another hit by Violet Duke! How can I live in Catcus Creek? I absolutely adore this town and all of it's residents, have not been disappointed by any of the stories in the series yet and this one is no exception. The story of Hudson and Lia is sweet, funny, and romantic. I could not put it down and did not want it end. As individuals they have traumas that keep them guarded, together they heal and grow into a couple that I want to hang out with.

Loved it. So sweet and awesome I loved their story. I love the family bonds and how they support each other. The whole Cactus Creek Series are sweet romantic books that can be stand alone novels but so much better read in order. Awesome books.

Warm, sexy and funny!. I started reading Love, Tussles and Takedowns and work and was instantly glad it was a slow day. I couldn't put it down! I found myself grinning and laughing out loud several times with a few sniffles thrown in. It's well written and totally pulls you in and submerges you into their lives. I can't wait for Loves, Exes and Oh's!!

Love, Tussels and Takedowns... And Hudson.. Violet Duke strikes again! I'd been eagerly awaiting this next installment of The Cactus Creek series and Love, Tussels and Takedowns did not disappoint! It was absolutely worth the wait. For me, this book had it ALL! Within the first few pages I was snorting in laughter and later I was crying like a baby. I loved the relationship between Hudson and Lia and watching it develop was an emotional roller-coaster ride for me and I loved every single bit of it. I really cannot wait for more from this brilliant author and this fantastic series.

definite read. you are going to want to read this. I love Violet Duke, and she definitely hit this one out of the ball park. Great, Funny read. Worth the buy.
