She dreams of living a simple life but discovers this is hard to achieve when a dangerous creature is loose in the city and there is a plot brewing against the King. When Clariel is drawn into the efforts to find and capture the creature, she finds hidden sorcery within herself, yet it is magic that carries great dangers.

Great series, but missing a title!. I would have no reservation giving 5 stars, 6 if it were possible, but it advertises as a complete series. It says all four books, but there is a fifth, Across the Wall. It is a short, but still missing? whats that all about?
Excellent series with only one stumble. I recently repurchased this set for perhaps the 3rd time, I have long loved the original Abhoresen trilogy and was thrilled to see a new book in the series. Clariel took more effort to get through than I have come to expect from this series yet was worth the trek.
