Best so far.. Seventh in this series and so far my favorite. These book have a tendency to spin out, this one actually, kind of, made sense. There is the snarky humor we always expect from Charley and the back wash of side stories, that are always included in these books. There is laugh out loud humor in this one. I always wonder how one person/reaper/god can have so much heart ache and turmoil but still be positive and good. Fun, good read.

Price? Errors? Babble......... I was very much looking forward to this next book and had a hard time paying this price for it, but I did. After reading all of it, I was left feeling..... well, the story line headed in a direction I don't feel comfortable with. I do realize it is fiction, but personally I didn't care for it. I also found several errors in the type. The word "in" and it should have been 'if' or the word "and" when it should have been "out" (examples). Distracting. I was disappointed in this book in the series. It's like watching a movie that is 30 mins. long but with commericals they make it last an hour. Too much babble, maybe.

Seventh grave & no body. I love this story.it took a day & 1/2 to read.but as usual u left me wanting more to this story. & may I add I love the sayings for the tee shirts .their very funny. I can hardly wait for the next Charlie Davidson chapters.Love Love Love!

Review. I enjoy the series so far. I love Charley, especially when she answers the phone and she's some kind of business. The rest of the characters round out the stories really well. The only complaint I have about the books is the uncle calling Charley pumpkin all the time. After awhile it gets tiresome.

What?. I have all the books in this series and was really looking forward to the next book. But $12.99 for an ebook is pretty steep. I think I'll pass.

The best yet.... All I can say is that this was the best of the series and I thought #6 was! I reread 6 and read 7 in less that 48 hours. When is 8 coming out? What a major cliffhanger! Whenever 8 is due it is too long!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really. I was really looking forward for the 7th installment, I have no doubts this will be awesome like the past books but it's way too expensive. I hope the price will be lower next time...

Another. Great book that has left me wanting more... I absolutely love this series!!! Action, Romance, Humor, and just plain amazing! I cannot wait until the next installment comes out!

Eh.... I really liked this series up until this book and the last one....now I could take it or leave it...I don't know if I am going to read the next book....

This is the continuing story of Charley’s life as the Grim Reaper, the corporeal spirits who have yet to pass, and the man to whom she has pledged her undying love-the son of Satan-Reyes Farrow. The series should be read in order for cohesion and the ongoing history between Charley and Reyes. Told from first person POV (Charley) the focus of the storyline follows Charley as she is called in to help investigate a series of ten year old unsolved murders. Meanwhile, not only has Charley been targeted for extermination by Satan himself but someone has sent twelve hellhounds to make sure the job gets done. When a young sixteen year old girl is murdered, Charley is asked by the recently deceased herself, to track down her missing body. With the number of cases building, Charley continues to place herself in danger at every opportunity. Reyes is NOT a happy camper when he discovers that Charley has risked their future for the sake of someone else. The relationship between Reyes and Charley is one of undying love, ordained by hell, and soul mated by birth. Reyes has waited thousands of years for Charley’s arrival and he isn’t about to lose Charley to the demons of hell. Their sexual chemistry is explosive; provocative and intense. Each chapter is introduced using ‘bumper stickers logos’ or ‘t-shirt quotes’ adding an even more humorous element to the story. Cookie and Charley play off of one another like yin and yang-a veritable game of table tennis of the mind. With every storyline, Charley begins to amass a following of the recently deceased that assist Charley in one way or another. Not only do these spirits refuse to move forward but they remain behind to help Charley in any way they can. SEVENTH GRAVE adds one more ghost to Charley’s fan club. Darynda Jones is an amazingly, talented author whose imagination grows with each installment. There are moments of humor and sorrow; heartbreak and love; mystery and suspense. My only complaint is the slow reveal of everyone’s purpose (including Charley) in the series. There are so many secrets that have yet to be revealed. The true nature of Charley’s predestination is the biggest secret of all.

Charley does it again.. I would have thought by now that I was going to be tired of this series, but once again, I am going to be impatiently waiting for the eighth book. So many twists and turns, fast paced writing and random humour mixed in with drama. I enjoyed this book as much as the others in the series.
