Holy Cr@p!. I wasn't sure I'd download this one, I liked the first one but didn't love it, at first the overthinking everything drove me insane, then I think the sex scenes just dragged out a bit much. But I did get it after reading the reviews and this one definitely made up for all of it, it was so intense I read it in 12 hours, everything was so much more well balanced, nailed it!

Wow!. Beta was full of suspense, action & sexiness! I couldn't put it down once I started.

OMG, Beta Really???. I was so intrigued by this story and the abrupt ending was both fantastic and disappointing. I totally understand the authors dilemma, but with that said you just can't let the story stop there. Please continue the story.... These characters deserve to be continued.......

Beta!!!!. Ha ha! I hate you but love you Jasinda!!! The book was awesome. I so loved the touching romance and hot and steamy sex scenes! My mind is racing after just finishing the book.

Addictive!!!. I read this in one day. I completely put my life to the side to read this. So very captivating! I wasn't disappointed one bit!

My Favorite. THE BEST!! Better than 50 shades && christian gray. Valentine Roth makes every woman reader want to be Mrs. Roth.

Pushing Boundaries!. This book is very dark and is not for the normal romance reader... Was a hard read for me but I enjoyed it...

Beta. I read Alpha and other books by Jasinda Wilder and mostly liked them. HOWEVER, Beta was the most disgusting, badly written book - a huge waste of my time and money. Never again will I take a chance on any of her books.

Wow!!. Wow...just wow! There really are no words to describe how absolutely awesome Jasinda's writing is.. this book totally blew me away! I was emotionally all over the place and totally consumed by this book from start to finish, this was one of those books where you wanted to look away for a moment just to catch your breath but at the same time you were compelled to keep reading so you could find out what happened next!! Simply amazing!

OMG!!!!!. So good!! Suspenseful, riveting, sexy, fantastic story. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN!! One of the best books I've read in quite some time. I fell in love with the characters and seriously felt everything they were going through. Can't wait to read Omega. This is a must read for anyone who truly loves a good book.

Beta. Outstanding. Very few books make me cry

It's different than Alpha...but it's great!. After reading Falling Into You, and Alpha I know how erotic those books were. This book is exciting in a different way. It deals with heavy topics like rape and torture but it is still a great read. Kyrie and Roth's story takes a different turn. It is full of adventure and turmoil. Yet, you start rooting for them...I loved it. The ending begs a trilogy.

Beta is in my top 5 favorite books of the year!. From the first two chapters of Beta, I knew that this book was going to be good. Having enjoyed Roth and Kyrie relationship in Alpha, I was expecting something quite different from what I got in this story. As soon as I read "He belongs to me," I got a chill down my spine. There are twists and turns that I could not have even imagined. The darkness of the story goes far beyond what it did in Alpha and is better for it. No need to fear though, for all of you who love Jasinda’s sexiness and heat, those elements are there. I do have to mention, that I was warned about some sections of this book that might not be for everyone. If you there is any part of you cannot handle rape or torture in a novel, then I would suggest you not read this book. There are dark moments that may not be something you want to read. However, if you are able to handle those uncomfortable (for lack of a better word) situations, then I would say read Beta. In many ways, Beta exceeded my expectations. It pushed the limits far more that I thought Jasinda would or could go in her books. I have always loved the way she has crafted a story, but now after reading this, I have a whole new level of respect for her as a writer. In my opinion, any artist or writer that is willing to push past their comfort zone and produce something that comes from a place of growth is one that I will continue to read. Simply stated this book is jam packed with suspense and sexiness. It will make you flip through the pages faster than you thought you could and leave you wanting more.

Undecided but still finished the book in one day. Beta is very different from Alpha. Normally the plots are very similar within a series, so I was definitely surprised by Beta to say the least. Alpha felt like erotic romance over emphasizing the sex between the two characters, and Beta felt like 'action adventure'. Where the male lead of Alpha seemed almost perfect to the point of being inhuman, the same character is more developed and full of flaws in Beta. The writer has good writings skills but I would recommend her being more consistent in the future. She could experience different techniques say if they were different stories, etc. The way Beta changes after immediately reading Alpha confused me. I also started skipping through the erotic scenes at the end of Beta as they felt almost unnecessarily long. I'm no English major nor editor.....so I would say that overall I felt 'undecided'.

Loved it!. I really loved Alpha and now Beta as well. I'm just disappointed with the way Beta ended. Please write another book Jasinda...I'm so love wh these two characters and I need to know what happens to them and their love story.

Love this book!!. Was supprised how good the book was! It’s nothing like what I expected to happen and had me on the edge of my seat by the end of it! Can’t wait for Omega in August :)

5 Intense Stars!. Ok. I'm not really sure where to start with this review, and I'm going to try really, really hard not to spoil anything for you. Oh...my...God! I have never, and I mean, never, read such an intense book. I seriously don't think I breathed while reading Beta. The writing in this book is superb. It's intense, heart breaking, gut wrenching and wonderful. I am gutted after reading this book. Completely overwhelmed with the emotions that were brought out by the writing. I felt everything that happened to Valentine and Kyrie. Every single gut wrenching moment, I felt it in my heart. My breath was taken away at some of the most intense scenes. And, I loved every freaking moment of it. Valentine Roth has a very dark, shady and dangerous past. His past has now collided with his present and he has choices to make. Roth once again stole my heart. So sweet, so caring and so Alpha. Yet, the broken man that I read about was the one that captured my heart the most. I cried for him. Kyrie was written the way I like to read a heroine. Strong, confident, and willing to do anything for the love of her life. The things that she endured were beyond heart breaking. My gut churned and my heart sank. I wanted to scream for her, fight right there along side her. Such a wonderful lead female. Jasinda did a wonderful job writing her. Overall, I loved this book. I don't know if that truly defines my feelings. I couldn't put it down, didn't want to. I held my breath, sobbed big fat tears, and craved the moments of tender, sweet times that Valentine and Kyrie shared. I think this was even better that Alpha, if that's even possible. I also hope that we see more of these characters. 5 Brilliant Shining Stars from me.

Addicted! <3. Oh. My. Gosh... I am in love with this series! I read all 3 books in like 2 weeks! They are amazing! Definitely a lot of suspense making me not wanting to set the book down! But also a lot of steamy scenes which were also amazing :) :) :) it definitely gets dark in the second book (beta) but I think this was my favorite one to read! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. 5 stars. A must read for me :) <3

Enjoyed. Yes the ending was abrupt, however I enjoyed the characters Roth & Kryie. Yes we all want our happy ever after.

The intensity is killing me!. 3.5 stars, I loved it but it's not really my favorite.  I was intrigued with Alpha. The idea of stranger sending us money is pretty 'yummy', eh? Especially if the stranger ended up loving us.  But in Beta, wow. Things definitely elevated to a whole new level. I. LIKED. IT. Roth and Kyrie experienced nightmare after nightmare, only after few months of bliss. Roth got kidnapped by old enemy who, obviously obsessed with him. And now it's Kyrie's time to save him. But what if the enemy's too strong, even Roth's starting to crumble under their pressure? This book is intense, different than any other Jasinda Wilder's books and I enjoyed it. Even though there are parts that kind of make me sick because it's way too vivid and gory (this book is not for the weaks), but eventually I got over it and yeah, I enjoyed the ending. I cried for Roth and I cried for Kyrie. If I were her I would definitely wouldn't make it. Oh and I have read the 'author's note' and HELL YES YOU SHOULD WRITE BOOK THREE, JASINDA BABY! SERIOUSLY! PLEASE!

please make a third!. loved this book so much, it was so different to the first - which I liked, the action and everything made it more interesting... but please please PLEASE make a 3rd!!!! I can't even open another book because I just want to keep reading this series and I need to know the real ending! love all your books :))

Amazing!. Seriously, I love the characters in Alpha & Beta; the connection Kyrie & Roth have is made of dreams. Deeply erotic dreams that play on your mind for days after you've finished reading the last sentence. I really really really hope for a third book to finish out the series! xox

so disappointed. Was not worth reading. So different to the first book that i was so disappointed and didn't enjoy reading it at all.

So frustrated!. I loved this book and the series but I am so so frustrated there is no third book! It makes me annoyed I even bothered to read the books. Seriously it's so so frustrating
