Branches of the Willow. This 3rd installment of The Ancients Series is a seamless and fluid continuation of the story and its characters (aside from minor editing errors). I LOVE the way these female alphas are shown to have equality, and then some, with the male alphas; a trait which is not usually explored in other werewolf tales. We avid readers need more of these STRONG FEMALE protagonists. Keep up the great writing Ms. Butler, and please don't leave us hanging too long for the next St Marks-D'Lune saga!! We love the romance, action, and comedy.

Excellent shifter book, great series!. I have read all 3 in this series so far & am anxiously waiting for the release of the next!!!! I love shifter books, & this series is excellent, lots of twists & turns,& lots of surprises! Can't wait for the following releases!

Great story.. Really enjoyed this book, it's my favourite in the series so far. I'm glad Mikael's behaviour from his first meeting Jess in book 1 was explained, as he's one of my favourite characters and his personality just seemed off in that moment. Looking forward to the next book and the spinoff series about the Daniels Clan.

Interesting. The storyline is good, and is different from what you'd usually find in this type of genre. The grammatical and punctuation errors are a shame, I'd never realised how much they can interrupt the flow of a story!

Good story. This is a good story, let down by poor grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Some sentences I just skipped over, as they made no sense. When I pay for a book, I expect it to be proof read. This series obviously wasn’t.
