Amazing, exciting, fun, sexy. This the second time I have read this book it is so good. I love the romance, the steamy sexy love and the way it is written. This is a book I think about often after reading.

Great books!!!. I loved reading these books. I hope there is another in the series after the baby is born. Great read by a great author!

Bad. You made him stupid and her both weak and stupid…

Not as good as the first.. The first book was really good. Well written. Evangeline was a little babyish but not bad. This book not so much. I really could not get into this book like all the other well written books by Maya Banks. I found myself asking is it the same thing over and over. I was wanting to skim the book A LOT. All Evangeline did was whine and cry. Almost every chapter was like that and if it wasn't crying it was the same sex over and over. Some of the other scene were great but it didn't make up for the whole book. She was just to forgiving to easily. Like she didn't have a backbone. If she wasn't crying to Drake she was crying to her body guards. To the point it made Drake look physically abusive to her by ways he treated and talked to her. Then would say sorry and it's like oh I forgive you then the same thing would happen again. Not only that for someone so Dominate he lets another many have sex with her without a condom? Only later find out she is pregnant and not once was the question asked could there be a chance. For a dominate there was hardly and dominating in this book. He was always letting her run things. To me this book was just not as good as the others. But that's just my opinion. Doesn't mean you won't like it better.

Skip. I really did not like this series. I read the first one through and skipped much of this on. I really can’t stand Evangeline. She annoyed me and to be honest I thought it was so weird that he wanted her to have sex with that guy and she was just okay. Like what kinda crap is that? There were some really good sweet moments but man those as hard to read. I’m unsure why people gave it good reviews. I wish I had of chosen a different book to read from this author. People say she she is pretty good but these books have me skeptical.

Beautiful. Absolutely loved this book; this alpha males falling hard in love trying so hard not too but finding their true loves beautiful

Enjoyed this book!!!!. I really enjoyed this book. I bought it on audio too, so I listened to it and it was so emotional and crazy up and down with everything. I know that they portray Evangaline to be a nit wit but in real life people from small towns don't really deal with that kind of stuff on a daily basis so she wouldn't have reason to question. She is someone who loves with her heart and defends with it too. I thought it was great that Drake and all his brothers/men got to see and feel the innocence of a human being. They from what is portrayed have never had unconditional love or friendship from anyone in their lives before and she is a wonder to them all. I just hope you make a 3rd book to tell us the honeymoon and the baby. Sorry I didn't mean to have spoiled an ending for everyone. I just want to know how they are doing and the life they will be leading now that they are married. Please write another one and soon!!!!! 😃😃😃 Thank you for the last 2 books I really enjoyed them.

Horrid sequel. MB stated it best "Evangeline is a hapless twit." To forgive the unthinkable twice? To not ask questions about what your lover does even after being kidnapped?! One does not have to be a "ball buster" or "rampant feminist" (as mentioned by MB) to be a good female lead. Evangeline is utterly ridiculous. I cannot fathom such a female exists. I have adored all previous MB books and the scorching D/S aspects especially - this novel is a true departure from her norm and a true regression of the female character. Don't bother buying this one - borrow it from your library, but only if you truly have nothing else to read. It's just the worst.

Don't waste your money. I love this author but this book had me constantly rolling my eyes. No substance! Such a bore to read. Save your money.

Well, this was awful!. Wow Maya, you really went off the grid this time. Evangeline was a sniveling spineless twit. Cried through the entire book. Drake was a total screwup who not only humiliated the "light of his life" not once, but twice and reduced his "Enforcers" to coddling Evangeline by going shopping, making hair appointments, decorating Christmas trees and doing floral arrangements with twinkling lights for the wedding. In a word, this book was nauseating to the extreme. I've never been this disgusted with a character like Evangeline.
