Fantastic page turner. Beautifully written. It is a wonderful story of love, friendship, humor, and romance. I laughed, cried, fell in love, and was hooked on finding out what would happen next. I will re-read this book over and over again. A must read for every hopeless romantic out there!

Okay read. I enjoyed thoroughly at first. Then it got to the point where the writer had too many interruptions every time Steve wanted to express his feelings to Anne. That got old!

Wow. I love clean romantic tales but I want to feel something along the way. The author kept it clean but managed to add some passion to the plot, just enough to give you that romantic sense without the explicit sex scenes. And the end was more than a happy ending.

Fantastic book. This is an engaging story of how a widow from Texas goes to New York and applies for a job and gets it. Once she arrives in New York, she is quick to make friends and begins her matchmaking, lol. Matchmaking is one of her many talents. She meets a very sexy Frenchman through her new job and they become friends. While working with Steven, she becomes friends with him. Who will she eventually end up with, the sexy Henri or the sexy Steven? As you’re reading this, you’ll meet a lot of wonderful characters. No spoilers so grab your copy and get ready to fall in love with this beautifully written series.

Weatherford, TX to NewYork, NY. Knocked me flat on page 2. Weatherford, TX....go Roos!!! This book was entertaining. References to places in NY city and my favorite places in Tejas ( that is old, old, old school Texas ).

Best Matchup. This was the best read. Hilarious rapport between Anne and Steven. Was about their connection. If you read a book for the sex scenes, you will not find them here. That being said, the stories interaction so well written you don’t even miss them.

The best is yet to come. Cute. Funny. Complicated in a light silly way.

Sweet story. Was a little long in the process to the HEA, but the humor made you want to see what the main character did next. Exciting and refreshing to find an author with morals who writes books with no profanity.

Just ok. Book was overly long. Author could have shortened it and it wouldn't have felt like it was dragging so much. The 2 daughters are beyond annoying. They act like tweens not 20 somethings.

Great read. Took me a bit of time to finish, but had a good story line

What a story!. A great story full of fun, love, frustration and excitement!

Just ok. This was a cutesy novel but not very likable. Steven very obviously has feelings for Anne, though the author fails to depict him as worthy of her by the end of the book. Call me crazy, but emotional manipulation and game playing does nothing for me. Anne was a sweet character though, despite her bad taste in men, until the end when she does nothing to stop Gram’s being horrible to Henri. Though Henri is labeled as dislikable throughout the book by Gram and Steven, he is the only character that was genuine and honest with Anne. In the end, she seems not to care about that in favor of her manipulative and selfish new family.

Best Match. This was a great story! I couldn’t put it down once I started to read it. The writer made the people real in the story. This could happen in real life. I wished it would have gone on longer.

Beautiful!. This book is awesome, once I started reading it I just could not stop! I love the story of Anne, how she had love for everyone and I just could not stop reading to find out who will she end up with! So awesome I just want to read it again!

Mixed Feelings. I was originally happy that this book was so long. I liked all the fun characters and relationships. Then when the book was about 3/4 of the way in I started getting annoyed with the main character. So clueless and immature. The “no sex” in this book made it a very looong drawn out ‘tension’ in the relationship with no big hot climax, and no passion and even the declaration of love lacked fireworks. It was like a slow burn and fizzled out. Yes it was a happy ending, which I always appreciate, but it did seem like it had to be explained by every point of view and the explanation carried on for a long time. The book was ok. I did like things about it. Just disappointed at the lack of a big climax. Otherwise well written and easy to read with lots of in depth lovable characters.

Thoroughly enjoyed!. What a fun book; I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. This is the first time that I’ve read a book by Tamie Dearen. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

Sweet and Fun. I could picture the story like I was watching a movie. No sex, but a few steamy scenes. Really long, but I didn’t want it to end, so that was okay.

Absolutely brilliant!!!. I could not put this book down…it was funny, heart racing, fast paced and emotional. Great length too. Loved the strong characters especially Anne and Steven…their interactions and conversations are absolutely fabulous - frustrating, funny, tender and denying what everyone else around them can see ! Totally recommend this and be fully prepared to get so involved that everything else will fade away!

One of the most captivating stories I've ever read!!!. I loved loved loved reading this. It certainly made me feel all the emotions described at each scene and truly I was in another world. I read this in less than two days.

Clean romance. Slow paced story of the developing relationship between the boss and his PA. Drags on slightly too long for my liking, with her re-interpretations of her feelings and his intentions getting somewhat repetitive and situations getting increasingly contrived, then suddenly he gets his act together and they marry within a week. Lots of side characters involved, some who no doubt will be in future books.

Her Best Match. Loved Stephen to begin with but Anne was a pain! She was portrayed as completely clueless when it came to her own feelings but was some sort of seer when it came to the personal lives of others???… totally unrealistic! I got frustrated with Stephen in the end. Somehow he managed to put up with Anne’s idiocy and I ended up thinking less of him. Maybe if the story hadn’t gone on for soooo long it may have been more bearable?!

Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh 😕. I really really wanted to like this story, and I did... Kind of. The leading lady is just too ridiculously stupid. She is so dumb it makes the story unbelievable. The author would have you believe she is a competent mother and smart in a business sense yet is incapable of having intelligent complex emotions.. The other characters are likeable but there is also too much unrelated dialogue which slows the the text down and makes things weird. This book needs editing and the lead character needs to be more believable. Good story idea and it was good apart from what I have mentioned.

Sorry Ms. Best, I'm putting you back on the bookshelf!. I really wanted to like this book and for the most part I did, loved grams and the interview Ms. Best has with Mr. Gherring! I'm a fan of Bridigit Jones-esque type of romance-clamity however at times it seemed a pre-teen in full on hormonal fits was more reasonable than this supposedly 45 year old woman of two grown children! After the point of no return (more than half way throught the book), I just couldn't handle her bloody naiviety and prudish attitude, the character for me became unlikable after that point. Sorry Ms. Best, you are not My Best Match!!
